@Bananaman No, that would be a sh*tload of code. Somebody could always teleport the bots to a location and then spawn Roc and let him kill them as they are being banned.
@fckerr Since Euros aren't 100% completed the server will be launched and they will be finished in the background. I was told for sure that Euros will be released before 60 cap is raised, skills are around 50% done so they should be finished fairly quick.
they need to take a room like ctf to teleport the botters to after they have been stripped of their gear. they just sit there and dont ever get out, maybe that way you dont have to ban entire accounts.
Or simply give them never ending pk-status and make them unable to attack back. All other players on the server can have fun by bot-hunting/killing then. Maybe they'll even drop their gear then, which might be usefull for the other players too. When they lost all their gear simply ban them from the server. And another thing, disable storage, exchange, safe zone for them, so they can't avoid loosing their gear.

this is like, and would be far more achievable. this way you guys dont even need to ban, you can just let the whole server have even more fun.
Haha the fun botters could be. I highly doubt the server will ever be infested with botters seeing as how the anti-cheat will keep them out if they run anything but game. Logs can also be checked to see what the player is running or even what they're doing/saying I believe. Not to mention bots would be posted on other forums allowing the team to see what they need to do to get rid of the bot for good. I'm sure people would rather stick to ZSZC or something with high rates and bot there than bot in eSRO, especially since it's basically legal in the other private servers and the chances of you getting away with it in eSRO are low.

I think the longer it takes for eSRO to come out the harder for it will be for people to leave ZSZC. This is beacuse people will be high lvl and possibly FF. And most importantly they probably made a lot of goof friends and these friends wouldn't want to leave ZSZC. Another point to consider is the gold obtained in ZSZC. For example, right now I'm close to 2b gold (never bought silk).
Tbh, I'm not 100% that I would like to move to another server with 0 gold and now that I'm lvl77 and FFed. But your antibot system and lower rates actually seems tempting to me.
Also silk items not being tradeable seems a big con. That means that most likely the only rich people will be the silk buyers. Thus, at high levels there wouldn't be much competition. Silk buyers = pet + premium + damage scroll + good items + etc.. > non-silk buyer. This is not a matter of how cheap silk is gonna be (some people don't have means to buy silk online) but just competition-wise there will be none.
Now, I'm not saying that people won't join eSRO because of this, but just something to think about.

Anyway we can't make silk tradeable due to chargebacks.
And bottors will be auto-banned (database wise account deactivation) by our anti cheat, so in most cases there won't even be a gm needed for the ban progress.
Please note that this is a work in progress, and that everything could possibly change.

But its full of bots which will be there forever. ZSZC is doomed. Bot problem cant be solved only by online so called agents which run looking for bots. Something client sided should be added like it'll be in ESRO and I do believe there wont be any bots in ESRO. So no traffic Oh and yea I've been waiting one day for confirmation email too.

We aren't interested in having a lot of players, we're focused on having a tight community, not a server full of newbies. Better, cooler, nicer people > capped 1XX turks If you don't want to leave ZSZC for eSRO that is perfectly fine.

I did try ZSZC and I must say it would be hard dropping such high rates for a low rate server. As none of us have control over rates all I can say is simply don't play if you don't like it, as there isn't much else I can say or do for you guys or myself. I don't mean to be rude by it or anything.

Anyway, automated programs can have 99.99% success rate, well we will only ban for obvious reasons (like a running, compatible, up to date bot program, or a modified client, or w/e) and you could always appeal.
Rawr is indeed 'just' a moderator, it's not his server, better yet, it's nobody's, it's run by our team and everything that happens will be discussed by all staff members.

Will these programs be detected as harmful to the game and eventually be blocked? Or do you have a list of programs which may be allowed and a list of which may not?

*taking a shot in the dark* im betting that it isnt about what programs are running as much as if another program accesses the memory of the esro client it will detect this and cause immediate problems. so lets say you run a program lets call it "eSRO Cheatolopolis" while running esro, no problems, but the second you activate "eSRO Cheatolopolis" and it begins to access and alter the memory that esro is currently using it is detected and reacts. thats my guess.

Well it's not going to block anything like that. As long as you don't run bots, loaders, etc. you'll be fine.
@Aerials This is true, bladers are more of an annoyance than a threat in the current p servers.
@Kronos HW/HS will be @ 50% just like KSRO. You warlocks will be giving my warrior a run for his money.
