Helicopter is completely impossible. Jet I can do ok at, but I can't seem to get any targets to shoot, it completely misses all of the other jets every time with that stupid little machine gun.

im pretty sure helis are not meant to be shooting at planes. try shooting some infantry or light vehicle

Wtf is wrong with Snipers.. I get 3 hit markers.. no Kill.. kill assist is only like 60 points. That seems a little extreme.. Sniper shouldn't take as much as a pistol to kill someone.

take off the scope and use it like an assault rifle, worked good in the beta not sure how it is now since i haven't bought the game
It was the mk11 I think. I got so mad at that. In the beta it was awesome and I was good with it. Got headshots constantly. I'm wondering if they increased bullet drop or reduced damage. I went 13-2 in my first game though when I accidentally went assault lol. I love the assault class, but I also like being able to counter snipe and clear objective areas in Rush from a distance.
I've noticed very very little actual bullet drop. I think it's because most of the maps have mostly close quarters, and the range doesn't have drop yet. Thinking of trying a bigger map and testing a little. Wish I could see where bullets land easier though.

They're some maps where you really have to compensate for bullet drop (Tehran Streets). The problem is that most of the maps where you would need to compensate, you end up driving around in a tank or plane.
I'm having intense fun with this. I didn't start off good; my SPM and KDR are terrible but i'm trying to learn new things. I've never been a pilot but I feel like i'm tearing it up right now. My kills don't accumulate but i'm disabling almost everything in the air and getting points from that. I play on PC but I set up an xbox controller for my flight controls. It seems to work really well.
As for sniper rifle choices, I still use the SV98. No scope or 1x zoom (holo/red dot) are my choices, even for long range sniping. They always 1 shot headshot. I'm at 118 kills and 97 headshot with the gun.
Also, would anyone want to do the Co-Op with me? I want to get the Sniper Rifle unlock.
And I'm on Xbox. Which is probably why I can't stand Caspian Border at all. I went 10 minutes straight without a single encounter because I didn't have a vehicle. I got tons of spot assists though lol. That map is just too big for 24 players. When playing objectives it takes a few minutes to get somewhere and then get killed by a cod fanboy sitting in a corner under some brush with his smg..
Oh yea, is the problem with me and my friend getting put on separate teams a feature or a bug? By feature, I mean if a match had 11/11 on both teams and it splits us up to make it possible to join the match. Didn't even notice, but I went around raping the entire enemy team and was laughing my ass off the entire time. While he was bitching about how he just had to defend the location himself.. I walked in to said location and killed him.. thats when we realized we were on opposite teams. This has been happening often.
Glitch, or something that DICE didn't think of when making the game, people have been ending up on the wrong team often as squads. DICE apparently has said it will be fixed. Who knows when.
Also, How do you spot enemies/vehicles? I haven't seen anything that says how. Everyone says to do it, but I've never seen it said how.

Not 100% sure on ps3, but on Xbox it's tap the back button, which should be the select button on ps3. I'm not sure how spotting works in this really, because sometimes it disappears right away(not by getting killed) and sometimes it stay on them for a long time. Them staying in or out of my line of sight doesn't seem to make a difference either.
