s/s nukers tanking without snow... yeah on people/mobs 5-10 levels below them

Guess you never played s/s seeing as I can tank 2-3 yacha w/o to much trouble, also s/s are not god in snow shield, warrior crits, or hell even a few hard crits from a glaiver is possible to kill an s/s in snow shield.. If I remember correctly another member posted a vid of her tanking more or less every other chinese class at 80 cap w/o snow as well, it wont always be needed as nukers hp increase

No shit, bards have absloute damage, s/s tanks ok with perfect gear, and as the cap increases ice will become less usfull imho, some ppl are droping it already at this cap.
EDIT: If you think a spear tanks better then an s/s, then lol, thats like saying a glaiver tanks better then a blader with the hp passive..

Other than that my tanks fine with just ironshield and kd on most people. ss is nice but i use it only if needed and its fun to have when you have a sun +9 glaiver to tank like I did today try tanking that shit with 40% ss.

Its also funny how fast people forget old legends such as Rejve who was a spear in garms who also tanked without snow, cuz we still had 70cap skills! So yes, imo nukers will do fine w/o snow as the cap increases.

plz comment my future build, 1:2 int or 70:70 sword.Since the vid shows pure int tanking w/o snow do this represent my 1:2/70:70 sword can tank better with protector and fire tree?

PS: planning on making heavy hybrid for sword, no nuke(maybe)

IMO,for int build up to cap 140, it is better to max either FIRE or ICE, light is not an option...e.g at 140(although still not here yet:P) for nuker with weapon...

140 weapon,140 light,20 ice? not good really, if u use garment to compensate lack of magic def but at this cap ull only have ice at 20,it is not enough.if you use protector,u got no fire for this build.

but...if u take either Fire at 140 or Ice at 140, u will still have a good defense and u can safely choose ur gear type.
Protector for the lack of ice def but protection from magic by maxing fire OR using garment to compensate lack of mag def by not maxing fire but ull get phy def by maxing ICE.

in short, skip light if u dont want any phy or mag def^^

If you are trying to prove that a s/s nuker can tank without snow shield on that video u fail... I have no ideal the blues on the attacker are or if the one "tanking" has any kind of sun gear on....
Nukers without snow can't tank period..unless they have some kind of sun piece ect. the only one I know that can actually tank be without snow is this guy http://www.rev6.com/player.asp?id=87826 i'm not too surprise by looking at his gear, other then that some nukers might last long enough to recast snow base on the # of kd they get to stay alive..but they are FAR from being able to tank...if they can stay alive without snow...then they must be gods with snow on. would completely make all other str. builds worthless (glaviers,bow,bladers)

True but, so many s/s chinese dont know how to use thier chars (always been a pain in the ass when im looking for pvp) and the easy way to tank is just to throw up ice wall and KD when they are close, when they stand up they have 1-2 secs where they cant atk or move, which u can nuke them in, or stone smash, alot of nukers just spam debuffs and KD, and either more like bladers, or just spam nukes and dont use sword skills at all
EDIT: He is also a glaiver, and you didnt say what build you were! but nvm I suppose.
