i always find a working one, series that are older than 1999 are harder to find though (mainly theres no dvd/good raws)

Most of these "overrated" shows are overrated for a reason and vice versa. I say watch the "overrated" shows first then watch the not so popular others. Not to mention that the not very popular ones can be troublesome to find.

The negative connotation of "overrated" seems to have carried on to my words. I myself enjoy the list of "overrated" anime I mentioned. You're advise sounds better since watching the popular ones first will save you from the chances of getting spoiled.

Im a big ghost in the shell fan. Personally i say watch the first and second movie ( the second is far the best ) than if you like it watch the stand alone complex ( not the second gig ). Its my kind of tv, a physiological anime with still a lot of blatant blood wherever it may fit in. Works for me.
