Lol believe it or not Pacific actually seems to have traps going on (made by legits and even bots too) all the time. The gold buyers don't want the value of the gold they've bought to go down with continued inflation, while the rest of us want prices to go down and want to be able to log in. People only buy gold because if they don't, prices will go sky high for them and they'll actually have to make money like we do. So I dunno I haven't yet seen a thief come to try and kill a trader or vice-versa. Most thieves who come actually offer to take over while the trader repairs if the trader gives them some loot to help them spawn. Anyway hope this at least works to some extent ^^.

The bot ban is obviously much less than the 1500-2000 they've done previously, but it's more than the 25 or 30 they've also done. I'm not going to be able to get on for another 6 hours but I'll probably be running a bot trap at Jangan for a while. I guess we'll be able to tell by the number of bots in Jangan whether the ban is successful or not. Hopefully someone can scope it out or get one up in the meantime and report on the situation.

Well porting over to DW from Constant via Hotan last night was interesting. At first I was blasted by the sound of respawning (100s) then I notice the line of bots with the oh so creative names (dfgsld lkjsdf asdfas etc) in a line from npc to npc then over to portal for a buff then out the gate and into the bot trap. 100s yes 100s It was sad to see and I haven't been in the game long enough to witness it. I mean seeing 10-20 bots on the ice yes but seeing 100s in town was pathetic. There is absolutely no excuse why a GM couldn't be in DW for 10 minutes or less recording all the names. There is no investigation needed this was absolutely unrefutable evidence that everyone of these were bots and it would be an easy job to do. Oh well since that won't happen, I went out and sat down and enjoyed the massacre. Keep it up....legits FTW!!!!!!!!!!!

Allright, it looks like JM is actually going to consistently ban bots. Or at least until they get modified to bypass JM's detection methods. Traps are going great. Zerg and NB each had a trap going in Jangan and DW last night. Along with Wakoo right after server reboot.

The little weenies running the bots are getting really upset. Wah wah wah. LOL. Maybe they should move to Hera...bots aren't getting banned there.

I'll keep helping where I can. Not much for a 32 to do. If someone gets the trap running at jangan, I'll roam around killing bots so we keep the cycle running. Now that 1000+ bots have been banned, Jangan will be hopping again.

Hope we don't get complacent and rely on JM. I am too low level to help but running from DW to the ravine it was bot infested and the ravine was full of bots ksing each other.

I agree. I had a bot trap going for 2 hours yesterday and it actually worked great. Jangan is starting to fill up again with goldbots and it would be nice to trap them there (in both senses lol).

set jang taxes to like 200% or as high as possible and gold bots wont be able to lvl past 10 and afford pots but legits wont either without help lol
