I agree with DotCom. Why don't they waste money on finding a cure for cancer instead of useless things like this. This "scientific advancement" as they'd call it, is going to be completely pointless. The idea will be abandoned or just not supported at all, and nothing will come of it.

Specialization. Not every scientist, or biologist, or health care researcher is specialized to do work on cancer research. We have scientists who have studied various fields to do this.
