It's not a matter of partriotism Luoma. deep.in just made the most ridiculous comment I've seen on these forums in a month. He's proven that he is a complete and utter retard and that he deserves every insult Reise can throw at him.

Good job Reise.

American yes. Patriot, sure. You don't have to be either to respect what our soldiers are doing risking their lives in Iraq. Hearing bullshit like what deep.in said is just not acceptable. Especially on a day where you should be remembering those who died 6 years ago. It doesn't matter who did it or why, that's not important. What's important is you show respect.

Death should be forgotten & never to be told to the next generations.(IMO)

I don't "celebrate" 9/11.

I agree. Well, kinda.

There are a number or reasons I don't "celebrate" "9/11".

For one thing; SOOO much worse things have happened.

Second thing; Why does everyone say to remember the people who died on that day, people die everyday.

Third thing; When I die, I don't want the whole world to remember my death, only the people who were close to me.

Fourth thing; Why remember the way someone died? You should remember the way they lived.

Ok, 2, 3, and 4 are all pretty similar, but I mean them all.

@deep.in what were you thinking? Saying something dumb leik that? Not a very nice thing to say =[

its his opinion and wheres he's from alot of ppl may look at it like that. But he should stopped at his first sentence....one human life isn't worth more than another....

I don't see how what reise did is any different or better than what deep.in did, hate machine is hate machine

Yes, all Americans love war, agree with bush, and want to stay in Iraq.
Pssh.

Let me tell you something...

Americans are good people. They are like any other people in the world. We eat, we sleep, we work, we live our lives as much as any other people. Americans generally dont look down on others, they dont love war and they dont expect or even tell others to feel sorry for their losses.

I had a friend who moved to a french school from the USA in 2003. She was just a normal girl, she likes boys, movies, music, and played tennis... Even though she was american, her country or origin didnt define her, and she had NO interest in politics..

In her school, people treated her horribly for being " the american ". Her teachers made a field day in front of class, asking " what does the american think about the murder in Iraq " and " I bet your filthy scrappers cheated to win wars ". After classes, one day on sept. 11m people came up to her and beat her up, they even did harsh words such as " Should I bow down to you because something bad happened to your country? ".

Notice how she didnt even care about politics, she didnt have any part in deciding the war, and she was only in the 7th/8th grade. She decided to not have friends, that she didnt need them... She tried to kill herself after that, because she was CONVINCED everyone hated her for something she had no part of.

So when I see people like you claiming one iraqi life is more then 5 american lifes....

I get upset. People like you are horrible, your YOUR life shouldnt be considered to be worth more then anyone elses- regardless of what an awefull human being you are.

I dont want my post to be deleted for flaming, so a friendly F- I mean, Hello, to you from the USA.

Steriotypes ftl (lol, and I"m one to talk).

Let me tell you something...

Americans are good people. They are like any other people in the world. We eat, we sleep, we work, we live our lives as much as any other people. Americans generally dont look down on others, they dont love war and they dont expect or even tell others to feel sorry for their losses.

I lol'd at the eat part... But yeah, fat american is a "steriotype". But they do enjoy to munch...

Americans do look down on others, and raise themselves on a pedestal. They are always talking about how great their country is and how crappy other places are.

And obviously they do expect and tell others to feel sorry for their losses, what do you think this thread is about?

I had a friend who moved to a french school from the USA in 2003. She was just a normal girl, she likes boys, movies, music, and played tennis... Even though she was american, her country or origin didnt define her, and she had NO interest in politics..

In her school, people treated her horribly for being " the american ". After classes, one day on sept. 11m people came up to her and beat her up, they even did harsh words such as " Should I bow down to you because something bad happened to your country? ".

Hmm, that's in interesting story.

Notice how she didnt even care about politics, she didnt have any part in deciding the war, and she was only in the 7th/8th grade. She decided to not have friends, that she didnt need them... She tried to kill herself after that, because she was CONVINCED everyone hated her for something she had no part of.

Lol emo girl. But seriously.
Americans treat foreigners like crap. Always yelling at mexicans and stuff... And there was this one muslim girl in college who was just standing in the lunch line, when some guy leaned in to her and said "bombs away".
Maybe it's not as severe as what happened to your friend, but you can be sure that things just as bad happen in america.

So when I see people like you claiming one iraqi life is more then 5 american lifes....

I get upset. People like you are horrible, your YOUR life shouldnt be considered to be worth more then anyone elses- regardless of what an awefull human being you are.

Ok, mr hippocrit (yeah, I don't know how to spell today).
I agree it was kinda dumb that he said an iraqi life is worth more than an americans... Nobodys life is really worth more than others (in a technical sense... I mean, if a drifter died nobody cares. But if someone who is 100 people's best friend, and is just the best person ever, many people will care).
Though I don't agree one anonymous life is worth more than another, I think I understand what he was saying.

The US only EVER reports on americans dying. SOOO many iraqis die each day, but every week or so, there's some huge report that is like "This man died today, he was a great american, and this is the worst day of our lives".
I mean, it's not like it's bad that they're doing that, it's good infact. But they just don't give two shits about anything but american lives.

I dont want my post to be deleted for flaming, so a friendly F- I mean, Hello, to you from the USA.

yea was really bad what deep.in wrote and yes Especially on this day.
even if i dont celebrate or pray,

For one thing; SOOO much worse things have happened.
all dead like this .is horrible ..and really you cant say worse.

Second thing; Why does everyone say to remember the people who died on that day, people die everyday.
Yes but was horrible dead ,and like the others disaster/accidents

Third thing; When I die, I don't want the whole world to remember my death, only the people who were close to me.
well anyway hole world dont know you .and they who dead we have seen from tv how/what happend ,is becose off it we can remember.

Fourth thing; Why remember the way someone died? You should remember the way they lived.

how can we remember them when i dont know them who died for real , is same like in the Third thing .

Ok, 2, 3, and 4 are all pretty similar, but I mean them all.

Hershey wrote:my point was that we shouldn't say we have to forget all that happened and not to treat them differently because many people die everyday....

That's true that people die everyday but that day had something different like the Katrina hurricane.... many families lost hope and everything but idk the least we could do is hope the best for them even if its already been 6 years...

I'm going to stop talking now, before I start making no sense and get my self in trouble =]

Hershey, you know I love ya buddy, but I still need to say somethings.

You said it's good to remember them because their death was different, OK, lots of peoples deaths are different. There was a guy who was trapped in a jungle, and to survive, he believed he had to eat his own feces. He did do it, and when he returned to town, he was so happy, but died the next day of a stomache infection due to the consumption of his own crap.
Not many people know that story, despite the fact it's quite an uncommon death.

I also hate how you said "like the katrina hurricane".
The tsunami was seriously way way worse. But katrina was still pretty bad, so I'll let you off the hook.

I don't know my stance on "9/11".
I think you shouldn't remember the way someone died, but remember the way they lived. And I don't think you should need a day to remember someone, but you should remember them all the time.

You have a good reason for acknowledging this day, but I think you should pay respects to the people who died by just treating your father better or something, and to just be aware of his job and stuff...

You know what I mean, right?

BigRob1 wrote:conspiracy stuff

Seriously, I think it was a conspiracy.

If you go to the hard science of it, it makes no sense.

A fire caused by a plane could not melt steel. And the center of the twin towers was a special construction known as the "steel core". I don't remember the specifics, but it is not easy to break AT ALL.

Also, what happened to the second tower after 9/11? Is it still there or what?

I don't really know, so maybe I'm just ignorant. But I don't think it was ever hit, was it? And it's not there anymore, is it?
