New Ban list for Redsea & Babel

OMG, my guilds farming character has been banned!!!!!

And what do I find out, one of my guild members, on their turn to do the GP farming for a week, decided to try a bot program thinking it won't matter becuase it's just a farming character and no one will find out he did it. Won't matter, won't matter!!! It had a full set of SOM, including the bow!!

He may not of botted his own character but he's not gonna be a part of my dam guild anymore. It's just so gut wrenching to lose a friend this way. :cry:

What is strange though that the few days he botted the character was 2 months ago. So, how long have JM been compiling this list for??

To clarify what I was saying, the friend is only a friend in game. I have no contact with them out of the game. The friend bluntly lied to me and my other in game friends on a number of occasions. We now cannot trust this person.

Maybe I had a bit of a knee-jerk reaction, but it's going to be really difficult for this person to participate in my guild if no one can trust him.

We also have the guild reputation to think about. That may not seem much to some people but I'm much older than the average aged player and maybe my value's are just very different to younger players.

(and no, I'm not having a go at anyone's personal value's, that's up to the individual to decide what they do)

it can be coincidence or not either way its not that important there are probably more who bot out there as long as you don`t promote or be pro-bot then what is wrong of being a member of a great forum?

lol........ did you notice that they never (NEVER) ban the people who PAY for botting?..... doesn't it make you wonder.... if joymax actually CREATE some of the bots? o.O

btw volant you are a really nice dude, and i like you a lot, but its still doesn't change the fact that you botted... i mean come on, getting to level 80 with no silk AND no bot? thats almost impossible lol =( and your gear being at a "friend's" sounds like you moved it all to another account because you knew this is going to happen.... you are a friend of mine and it hurts me to say it but even when the truth hurts - i say it

don't play innocent. i bet every single one of you guys has been considering using a bot at least once in all his playtime in SRO..... i considered it myself, but luckily i stopped myself in time! =)

They DO ban people who pay for bot
it goes like this:
Free bot + no silk = ban
Free bot + silk = ban
Paid bot + no silk = ban
Paid bot + silk = "Free to play forever!"

Payed bot or free bot, still the same, they both deserve to be banned. But it is true that JoyMax doesn't ban all.

No bot + No silk = BAN
also. they banned a friend of mine because he discovered who is the person that advertises thepowerlevel.com in globals in the game every 2 mins, and advertised info about him. (remember? it was Babel_gold or something)
my friend got banned for illegal advertisement. Babel_gold of course..... is still not banned i believe. or is it Babel_miss now? i dunno lol

lol .. they banned 3 guys of my guild .. all were of my lvl .. before i was scamed by my real life friend .. lme tell u something
they banned MOST non silk buyers .. dont care they bot or not ..
anyone plays in Babel should know .. Who is Altrol and who is CondoHP m tomy_pheong .. they are biggest bot names in server .. but did ya find them ins this " huge list " ?
no .. u know why ? coz they pay sro montly dollers .. buy monkey xD that helps them pick items while they are botting ..
if anyone disagree me .. tell me why biggest botters those are silk buyers are not in this list ?
im not taking side of someone .. im pissed coz they banned 3 of my friends who didnt bot ever and didnt bought silk before and they were 68\69 ..
i think this helps them kicking out non silk buyers, obviously F2p game right ?

Quite some assumption there. You just lost that bet.

If it true what you peeps say about innocent people getting banned, I am sorry to hear that. Wouldn't surprise me though since it is Joymax we are talking about. Not very smart since they cut of potential silk buyers. Silk usually becomes a part of the game the higher you get.

Considering so many got away at this ban, people from certain guilds we all know are high level hardcore botters, what else are there to think but Joymax letting some pass as long as they fill certain requirements.

I'm dissapointed at this list, 1200 names is nothing if they differ on how you choose to bot.
