I agree that he should get some form on punishment, maybe pay a fine or something, but it's just absurd that someone gets thrown in jail for something that he said, no questions asked. If he doesn't die in there whats gonna happen when he gets out after, lets say 6 years? He lost years of his life that he could have been using for lets say getting a good education and a job. His life ruined and he remains an outcast, and as many people think he probably agrees that he went in the jail for technically no reason, now that's a pretty good reason to actually blow something up.
I agree with most of the stuff here, but I don't think he should be punished, not even a fine. He just made a joke. Those half-wits...

I can't believe some of these cats here thinks he deserves any form of punishment...if he does then its time to turn yourselves in for every time you've made an obscene joke similar in nature....The justice system would be overflowing with people waiting for trial.....Ya'll must be trolling indeed...
