Re: Sim City (2013)!
Here is a little secret so don't people outside of these forums
but if you call in claim you didn't get the notice for a free game they will give you the one you want (I didn't get a notice at the time) and today I just got a free game notification so I got 2 games for free (1 other for free but not related to this) so yah if you have a notification and haven't picked, call in and claim you didn't get the notification and they'll add it. Then redeem the notification later!

Re: Sim City (2013)!
Hey bros got some questions about this game
I had a serious relationship with sim-like games in the past (roller coaster tycoon mainly, occasionally the sims). Never played a sim city game before but having seen live streams and some videos I think I'd like it...however
what's up with all the bugs/glitches?
Would you say they are very annoying?
Do they make you want to stop playing the game or annoy you greatly?
Do the city size limits suck?
Are the servers fine now or do you still have trouble logging in?
and finally
Is it worth buying?
Edit: and if I buy before the 25th I can get a free game..or two according to Gaige

Re: Sim City (2013)!
I've only encountered one glitch. One of my high density apartment buildings was on fire and I had about 10 fire trucks circling around the block doing nothing.
I've never had anything that made me want to quit the game.
I think the city size limits do suck, but it's what makes it challenging I guess. Forcing you to properly city-plan.
I've never had any problems logging in, but from what I've read, the server capacity has been upped greatly.
I wouldn't buy the game for the full 60$. That being said, Greenmangaming usually sports a 20% off coupon which you can use on SimCity, and yes, if you register your game before the 25th, you get a free game.

The developers of the latest SimCity learned a valuable lesson Friday during a Reddit AMA, one that will hopefully be passed on to other developers: people -- you know, the downstream consumers you're hoping will purchase your software? They hatehatehatehatehatehatehateHATE DRM.
EA, the publisher of SimCity, has seen fit to up the annoyance factor on legally purchased copies of the game by requiring an internet connection to play the latest title in the series, even in single player mode, and funneling the users through its horrendous Origin "service." Not only that, but players' games are saved online, so if you lose the connection, not only will you be prevented from playing your purchased game, but you'll be back at whatever point you were at when your service died.
