Online friends, yes. I have a few online friends I still talk to from time to time even if we don't share the same game anymore.

Online community, no. I gotta admit, I'm not the nicest person in most online games simply because I tend to find most players to be annoying and deprived of intellectual capacity. Not to mention pathetic - mostly the ones who engage in in-game e-relationships or get all serious about the whole guild seniority crap. Not to mention, I'm a pretty huge online game scammer (before I quit). I'm pretty sure they'll rejoice when I die.
