I know of two ways to add sockets, first is enchanting. I belive that the town enchanter has a chance to give the item a socket. There are also enchanters you will find in the wild that will exclusively enchant sockets into an item.

Second option is using transmutation.
Put in an unsocketed item (this means no socket slots) + 2 socketables of an equal or higher level than item = random number of sockets on that item (note I have not tried this but according to friends and forums this should work).

And damn, I realized they turned into "scrolls" the skills such as Barter, adventuring and such making them work as a passive, and taking space on the Spells slots Hard decision on which one to keep...

You can reset stats and skills via the console but it can be tedious because the thing resets your stats/skills but doesn't give them back to you so you have to level your character through the console again to the level he was previously.

!!!NOTE THAT USING THE CONSOLE WILL FLAG YOU AS A "CONSOLE USER"/"CHEATER"!!!

That or you can download a sharedstash.bin (it's a shared storage file if that isn't obvious) that's floating around the torchlight forums, it's pretty much just a stash that you download full of skill reset potions. Shouldn't be to hard to find with a google search. Unless they patched it this way shouldn't flag your character.

If you don't want to download the file you can do it via the console to. Just create another character and use the console to give him a "potion of skill reset" (again the "how" should be easy to find if you search for it on google, its just a matter of finding the console commands and item ID's) and put it in your shared stash for your other character to pick up and use.

The potion only works on skills though, so far nothing as easy for stats unfortunately.

Also, if I ever tried the sharedstash.bin way, I am guessing that would replace my actual stash, so I will have to take everything into my own inventory. D:

Just backup your own sharedstash.bin file and then swap them out, take out all the potions of respec and put them in your inventory.
Exit the game and swap the stashes back and voila, you have your old stash back and an inventory full of potions of respec.

Everything Ol3n mentioned is correct; I reset mine via PAK file. So it actually builds the potions into the NPC(s), and this doesn't or hasn't flagged me as a cheater.

I'm only able to play Torchlight 2 every now and then due to work and school, but when I do its so fun lol

Berserker is supposed to rely on his passives

He has some really powerful skills like raze adn some of his ice spells. By far he has the best 1v1 damage.

Well, yeah my main is a Berserk... gotta love my 8mp/sec regen xD
