Every Friday night I buy TV shows to watch at work on Saturday.

I have brought virtually every watchable TV show on itunes and was scared of being stuck watching nothing. Because animes are so cheap (10-15 a season) I almost bought one for the lulz.

Then I realized what I was doing, I lulzed, and I bought Dirty Jobs S04.

Medium is like 25
Big is like 50
Xbox hueg series is beyond that

Then again, 6 to 12 episode series are normally considered OVA's and are the short summaric form of a larger, full series.

I'd suggest, watch Akira, it's a must watch movie for any anime viewer.

Judging from your personality on the forums, I don't think you'll enjoy Naruto or Bleach. It's decent in the first part but it gets terrible as the story progresses.

Hellsing Ultimate(I think 12 hour long episodes)
Guin Saga(25 episodes)
One Piece(Once you get to CP9 arc)(too many episodes)
Full Metal Alchemist(possibly 75-100 episodes)
Hunter X Hunter(too many episodes)
Claymore(too many episodes)
xxxHolic(as of now about 180 episodes)

Gundam 00.

character development is gradual you learn small bits as the series goes along

the plot in the first season was to bring the world together by making everyone hate you

second series was to ensure this new world goverment is heading in the right direction

ofc this is dulled down, if you didnt see this then gtfo its not hard to grasp the whole idea was to unite the world to gain peace

each series ended with another to take over so can leave some details out, a movie is after the 2nd series to conclude the story
