By that logic it's totally fine to floor it when people are in the street like this pic:

It's their fault they were in the way, after all.

Road was suppose to be sanctioned off for a bicycle race (at least one side), the driver fell asleep and apparently switched lanes.. boom. His fault, bad logic there...

In my replies I said "if he was truly walking down the middle of the street", when there was a sidewalk available, then yes, he can take partial blame. It didn't say if he was crossing the street, just that he was walking down it.. Hence my replies. The driver is an idiot, but can't take all the blame. He's partially at fault.

Sidewalk.. use it.. don't walk down the middle of the street at night.

He could have been crossing the road.. idk.. article doesn't say. We'd obviously need more details to say if he should truly take any blame. At this point though, does it really matter?

I said like the picture.

The **** is wrong with you guys? Justifying running somebody over because you think that since they are in your way it's OK?

It'd be your fault for not paying attention to what's on the road.

It'd be your fault for not stopping for pedestrians.

End of story.

I didn't justify anything. :soosad:

I said they are both at fault. The driver more so than the man in the street, at night.

If you walk in the middle of a (motor vehicle) road at midnight and get driven over because the driver can't see you, that's your fault for fcking sure. Obviously, if the driver sees you and runs you over on purpose, it's the driver's fault (even if you were in the wrong place).

I don't know where you pulled that "justifying" part, I believe we were talking whose fault the accident was.

Check your medicine.
