I think you could test it using for example, lightning or cold's first imbue (preferably using the tree with the lowest mastery level) while wearing full INT blues equipment, so we can see how big the difference is on preferably people at the same level as you (comparing this lowest as possible imbue with fire maxed imbue). If the difference is in fact huge, then there will be the need of testing it using one character with 80 fire and another with 100 both with maxed fire imbue to see how big the difference is in this situation. Though yes, this thread will probably soon get buried away.
