Each have their practical purposes. If you know your abut to verse someone who only uses physical attacks, use armor. If you know you will verse someone who just uses magic attacks, go garms. Prots? Well they work for an all round middle ground when you dont know your enemy. Have a set of each.

This is what u posted
IMO, ints are nothing without snow shield. In group pvp which is the shit that actually matters, an int without snow dies or gets extremely lucky. With garms you are 20% faster and use 20% less mana, which affects mana usage from snow shield. Garm + snow should be able to tank 2-4 people depending on what build/gear. If you REALLY care about 1v1 then prot might be the best way to go if you think you can kd/iron wall until the cooldown is done.

Long story short, int without snow is paper, garms help snow shield and make you faster. Who cares about armor when you're gonna die anyway without snow? At least garms can help you run =)

In which sentence u talk about blues? What is real and what is not real?
Grinding is not real, pvp without blue or good set is not real?

I'm talking about real game situations which involve real gear. If you didn't get that through my post you lack reading comprehension, not my problem.

IMO and Exp :

Pure int Spear-> Armor

Pure int S/S-> Garm

Explanation? Spear has mag def buff increase, makes up for it. Sword has phy def buff. I find with pure int s/s garm, i do fine against both wiz and pure str since i can use the ironwall for any extra tanking snow lacks, and for wiz, the garms help. For spear, you can make up ironwall with armor and garm with the mag def buff.

INT s/s nukers with snow in garms get one-skilled by me (I'm warrior cleric) if daredevil lands any crits, which is often with c10+9 passive. Beyond just daredevil, a bash crit or turn rising crit and it can be over very quickly.

It depends a lot on your server. We have a lot of vortex wannabe warriors so garms aren't a good choice for Olympians. If you take garms, you can always just grind at magic attack mobs and they will hit you for very little.

Int in armor: Pretty easy for another int to kill even in snow
int in garms: Easy for a warrior/rouge/strong glavier to kill, with snow
int in prot: Sucks out of snow, owns in snow

Prot:
+Near immortal in snow
-gets destroyed out of snow
+10% speed

Garms:
+Can tank ints (I think) without snow
-Can't reliably tank strs with snow
+20% speed
+20% MP usage reduce

Armor:
+Can tank STR builds if you KD them somewhat often
+Can tank other ints with snow (I've seen it done, not sure how good a set you need though)
-Slow

If you go armor you will get your cookie tossed by other S/S nukers. They give bleed to you and BB MP.

its all fake

armor does look cooler, but more practical i think protector, i think its dumb how some people have 2 sets so they prepare ahead for a cape fight, maybe a set for grinding and a set for pvp (pvp =! cape fights) Must be prepared for running into every one from a lvl 20 glaiver to a 90 wizard, protector or garments leave you more ready for more opponents, all chinese have mixed in magic and alot more euros favor int, being more magicly inclined leaves you better equipted for more oppenents, but protector leaves you a a better chance to survive against a rogue or warrior.

not only that but protector looks cooler

I was thinking of switching to lightarmor for my rogue / cleric as I usually play cleric in parties (obviously), but then I saw how it actually looks and almost barfed. So I stuck with robe =D

Azilius wrote:i agree 9D robe looks badasss =D

+1 :D
the 20% healing bonus isnt too bad either
still, heavy armors just look orgasmic

Good question. I think you can't say, what an int should wear because every protector type has advantages and disadvantages. If you want physical defense wear armor and if you want magical defense wear gament.

Garms:
+Can tank ints (I think) without snow

No they can't
To say since, the being is not or the non-being is, is wrong to say against it, the being is and the non-being is not, is right.

If thats true, garments are worthless. You can't tank anything without snow..... You can't tank strs with snow.

Prot, 10% slower, but can tank anything with snow...

IF you wear garm and have snow 50%+ and you cant tank a Str WITH snow, then you should consider getting better gear or you just simply suck.

IDK if its been said but Garms + Cold has more defense in both Mag and Phy then Armor + Fire. Protector is decent but you basically suck at one or the other based on buffs.

Funny how in every thread about chinese a warrior has to mention how he can own chinese single-handedly... Duh, nevermind me, I'm just rambling again.
My s/s is wearing garments... I just like the speed and mp bonuses.
