Figure it out yourself. Why would a company not ban gold bots that would affect it's business, unless it is helping it.

Like cockroaches, very persistent. Last year JM was actively banning town spammers and gold bots, but they keep coming back. Why did they stop? Only JM can answer, all we can do is speculate :/.

No gold bots=no server traffic, we saw that before euro update and right after euro update after a huge bot banlist.
No server traffic=less income from premium tickets

When players stop buying gold, then the goldbots will be no more, JM can't be blame for everything.

thats one of the reason, but if you research a little more there is anouther reason why they dont.

Not really. They could just set max players to 1500 and people would still have to buy tickets. Also, goldbots were around before JM were selling premiums. At that time the argument was "JM is running the goldbots, they make money by selling gold". Of course that was a flawed argument since JM can create as much gold they would need, if they were actually selling.
Goldbots contribute to having to add more servers - something that joymax pays for. So the conclusion is that JM doesn't "do anything" because of unknown reasons. It would however be very easy to significantly reduce the number of goldbots if JM just had an interest in doing so.
You will spend 99% of your time grinding, you just don't know it yet.

AMEN! People need to stop blaming Joymax so much for the gold bot problem. Yes, they could be doing more to fix the problem, but if everyone stopped buying gold, and actually EARN your gold, the bots would have no use.
That will, sadly, never happen.

Re: The big Question, WHY.
JM will not stop the goldbots because they make more money that way. Only the players can stop them by making gold buying a taboo.
All the ppl i have talked to ingame havnt got a clue about why they shouldnt buy gold unfortuantely :[
