It lags cause your video cards Not good enough for silkroad, or simply because of the 3499 other people in the server. Joymax really needs to update there server Hardware.

Mostly it is to ur internet distributor, T-Com here in Croatia is for shit. Yesterday all my guildies had lag for 3 hours and random DC-s. Shoot I was crazy

I think one of the problems is that the new and old servers have a capacity, old ones 3500 new ones 2000 2500 or 3000, but the problem is that the server is crowed and theres no free space for premium user and get in allways, so the server capacity is 3500 but there are 3510 players online, and that contributes for a worst lag

Its funny how the 3500 servers are full 100% of the time, take 50 times to log in, but the 2500 servers are at about 2000 people, and login at first try...

A little note to you and all your complaining buddies. Stop using your shit ISP. Its an MMoRPG(Massive Multiplayer=MM) meaning there are alot of people playing at one time.(there are other reason, im just dumbing down my post for the tards) if you don't have a 2m dsl connection/3m cable connection or higher, then dont fcking play MMORPGs. JM promised us a long long time ago to never wipe our characters [again... Something us alpha-ers have had aplenty of times], so I doubt the older servers will ever just get "reset." If you're looking for a fresh start, try a new server. I personally like older servers, never really cared much for the cap racing on new servers.

The game is lagging because the distance between the servers and most players' locations is too far. If you look at the videos of Asian players who play cSRO/kSRO, there isn't even a delay after Phantom Walk.

"Lag" (the delay, not the timeouts) is due to the distance, NOT due to server load. I "lag" as much on an "Easy" server as a "Crowded" one.

If anyone here played Counter Strike (or other shooters for that matter) they will know exactly what I mean. (You never join a server with latency > 120-150ms)

Some lag can be from both SRO and your computer, I usually can tell when SRO has lag because my computer has excellent specs and my internet is 10MBS connection, you will find times where almost everyone is lagging and then its SRO

i barely lag, at all, usely just in hotan, and i thinks it because i have good specs on my pc and net connection, it has to do with both sides

its such a bitch especially if you have to run away from getting killed from a mob and when you click somewhere on the screen, your char just sits there for 2 sec before moving, and by that time my char is 30% health
