Magical balance?
Magical balance?
I've read somewhere that after you reach 90% magical balance you get a bonus in magic damage, and any magical balance beyond 90% will just go to waste since thers no bonus further or is there? I mean, you could just level up a few stats into str to survive more and keep your balance at 90-91% all the time to be at a maximum effectivness is that so?
And i've noticed INT/STR adds a certain % to damage but not raw damage as i've tought before, could i see the formula somewhere please? ^_^

That wasn't really helpful.

I like to talk in bold too.
I don't mind talking in bold, but i'd like more arguments to back it up if you will, and answer the 2-nd question too if not hard ;P
you didn't ask for an explanation
and theres formula somewhere on this forum, don't remember where though.

Go do it yourself.
See the damage differences.
I've got 115% magic balance. I do a lot more damage than someone with 90%. My low hp is fine with me, cause I love the high damage.
theres your answer.
Really now i don't like ppl that are full of themselves and have a extra big ego, wich wello27 is the shiniest example of those **** ^_~
And that was not a answer, that was more like a *Oh look how Farking great i am having 115% magic balance* type of thing.
I've asked for a formula of % that every INT points adds and a explanation how the magic balance system works.

Phy/Mag balance is a good "indicator" to how you distributed your stats for your char, and how additional stats "increase" the stat balance. 115% mag balance just means you've maxed the int stat. The more int you allocate for your char, the proportionally higher his/her magic damage.
Not to confuse you, but 90% (or 85%+ for spear) is usually the cut off balance where most players would consider you to be a "int-heavy" character, and thus could nuke effectively. This is just a concensus from various player's experience in sro, it is totally an arbitrary figure.

I'm 113% mag balance, and tbh i haven't noticed any major power changes since about 105% mag balance.
Basically, always got pure int stat + at level up, if your gear's str + bonuses take your mag balance lower then thats ok, just never put str at level up. I think anything over 1005 mag balance is good, im 113% and most my gear has str and int +4. Hp for ints will never really go much over 10k like str guys, but with all the str + and hp 400 etc you can maybe. I wouldn't know yet however, my highest level char was an str level 73, i started recently after i gave up sro on my int build, which is still just level 38. However, i can kill level 45-50 in pvp

Phy/Mag Balance is the final calculation to your damage output. After your weapon and skill damage is applied, the game multiplies that by the balance.
So, for 1000 dmg with 85% balance, the damage output for the attack would be 850.
Total damage is phy_damage * phy_balance + mag_damage * mag_balance.

That's how I understand it to be.
