Dual Axe / Lock

Post by GatoradeR »

It sounds like it would pretty much chain stun an enemy to death imo.I'm currently(still) trying to work on one of the most unique builds in SRO.

With that in mind, my only question is do you guys think that its worth the time?

:D

Maybe. If you want to be using spells while with Warlock wand(?), you probably should have shield along so you can take a little more damage. You'd be switching between those two constantly, pressing Warlock wand and the shield, then back the dual axe.

It will work for sure, you will just have to rely more on stun, or maybe use vampire kiss for your last skill with the warlock rod, just because you'll be getting hit harder than a 1h war/lock. I don't think there will be much swithing between the axes and rod in 1vs1 though since the axes will most likely pwn you faster than 1h so the PvP will end before the debuffs run out. I still suggest you try 1h war/lock though since you might end up liking it even more...since it might be more effective.

Ok. I'll probably just go with dual axes first, and if it seems like a total waste, Ill reallocate the points to a 1h (so i wont have to farm quite as many cursed hearts) knowing 100% that its far better.

Thanks everyone for your time! All of the feedback I have received is greatly appreciated, as well as any additional information / opinions that may be posted later on.

Don't use cursed hearts...it's a waste of gold and sp. Might as well just farm the extra 40-50k (to lvl80) sp for 1h or 2h skills.

What if I plan to use 1H from Lv1-30/40 then switch to 2H, Cleric sub? Should I relocate them with cursed hearts or should I just farm extra SP to support all 3 trees and dual between 1H for tanking and 2H for damage?

sometimes i pvp with warlock and my +4 dual axe and as of now i can only kill int builds, strs are much much harder, most of the time i lose but if i can curse them with impotent and division and land a bleed& stun combo with 10k+ crits i can kill them. 2h is a different story i have a 2h+5 sword and i dont need warlock buffs to kill.

Sounds like axes need ALOT of luck to kill...not really my style(<3 skill) so on that note, would you say it isn't worth it?
