Offensive Guild names

First of all I don't want to make this a racist topic or whatever.

My guild just recently left a union because of an Issue I had with a particular turk that was in one of the guilds in the union. Let's just say that I dont't like turks speaking bad about my country..just because of history (but thats another story).

The next day after I flamed and flamed I was called a racist bastard by a few union members, etc.. but I didn't really mind that because maybe they had a point, knowing how bad I could go when this happens.

Ok, we get called racist for hating on turks. But there is a particular guild on Alps called AntiChrisT and It is a lvl 5 guild with its union and active lvl 80 members..mostly turks. I tried to make a point before we left our last union but nobody would give a damn about it...made me think they were all turks in there lol :banghead:

Alright, so you guys are saying that if someone makes a guild called PKK or Nazi or whatever, he can just get away with it, fill it up with ignorant people that run around offending and level it up to 5 and that would be ok.

Nazi's were a historical part of society. Just because i don't agree with their beliefs it doesn't give me or you the right to say someone else cant. Its their right as a human to believe what they want, and just because you dont believe it it does not give you the right to tell them what to do

Their name said antichrist. That is nothing offensive. To say it is it deems that everyone who isn't chsitrain is lower than any other form of human. Dude thats just wrong. If someones names sais " i hate white people" do i get offended? No! Because i am mature enough to understand that it is their perspective. Sure i don't agree with their opinion, but it doesnt mean i get offended and bitch to a bunch of randoms how they have offended me blah blah.
What if i got offended over you being offended about the antichrist name? What if i was atheist and forced you to change your beliefs just to please me. Are you gonna do it? NO!

lol BM left the union too, but for a different reason. Don't worry, some day the turk infestation will be gone. I cant say im too thrilled about some guild names on alps either, like Hezbulla and AntiChrist for one, so i just ruin it for them. hezbullah was eventually extinguished except their 24/7 botters who i dont even know their guild is down to like 3 people....Anyways, you can count on me making it a living hell for those turks, cuz i can, and cuz its fun.

Ven, I wasn't talking about TD union. I was on about Death_Gods (Bogey's union)

And ted, I will try to find the line in the Silkroad policy that is against offensive Guild names and guild logos.

Antichrist is the name thing as naming a guild Devil or Demon whatever and lost of players have those names. Rascism is bad and names that clearly show a form of racism or religious intolerance should be removed. its easy to tell if you name a Guild KKK or Nazi that your clearly supporting bigotry but religion is much more subjective and a part of many cultures I i created a Guild called SatanicForce that doesn't mean i hate christians same can be said about AntiChrist

having said that i love the hypocrisy in SRO cause the amount of racism against turks is sickening but everyone seems to think its ok cause they're turks.....

I just would like to point out that hating those turks in SRO does not make you racist. I hate pretty much every gaming turkish, they are stupid, greedy and noobs among other things.
I met tons of eBay customers mainly from Kuwait and despite of the fact most of them can't speak perfect english, they are really nice people to talk to and they are polite and pretty damn cool, I even got invites to go to Kuwait a few times and I even met a customer from Kuwait who came to Uruguay to buy lands.
I do not hate arabs, I only hate those who play games.
I don't care where you're from, what religion you belong to or your skin color, I'll hate you if you're a complete imbecile. However I don't put every turk in the same sack because I've also met nice arab players, like 1-3 in the past year and a half though.

Anyway that's pretty much everything

ok hating all turks who play games is racist get it got it good....

If you don't like someone based on there race its considered racist. Hate the douchebag who decide to yell "fack you mother" but don't hate him because he's turkish and don't stereotype gaming turks as douchebags its just as bad....I've met some turkish ppl who were a**holes, i've also met some who were really nice ppl. In fact i've had more negative experience with US players spouting off slurs and calling ppl jews left and right than i've had with turkish players....i don't generalize them though.

Hate the player not the race and if your reduced to using race as a negative insult then your just as bad if not worse than the person your arguing with....
