Goodbye
It's over. SRO is not fun for me anymore. I've been playing since early feb '06, just after babel was released, and it was the funnest games I had ever played at 60 cap. The days when I would shun a pure build, thought buying pots was a waste of money (I made 4m by lvl 30 just grinding that way though), and didn't know what a bot was. I thought that STR hybrid cold-fire glaive or bow was the best build hands down, and I have rarely had so much fun playing a game.
I can't pretend any longer. SRO is not fun as it used to be for me. Every way I turn, people are cheating or just being outright mean and un-accepting. The blatant prejudice I see in this game is astounding. It's become a place where people can throw out accusations while hiding their identity behind a character and a program. I have played SRO the last year simply because I'd made a lot of friends. I met _SunTzu_ and 90D in Venice, _Medea_ (aka the great cuchulain) in Tibet, and Reverend in Pacific, to name just a few of the awesome people I've met. I couldn't get myself to leave all of them. They had come to mean a lot to me. The last time I felt even moderately excited was in Feb '07, when Pacific was released, but that all went down-hill. Now, it's time. More than SRO though, SRF has become my main addiction since about April '06, when I first saw it. A lot of you guys are really great, which has kept me here, even when I lost IguanaRampage's account info. But I need to move on, and saying goodbye is the only way I'll actually do it.

I know how you feel, thats why I have quit Silkroad for good... as said above, Silkroad Online has lost it's magic... I remember back in march 2006 when I first started playing silkroad I remember coming out of jangan south as a nooblet watching lvl 60's pvp. It was so awesome I remember thats what got me hooked on the game. Silkroad online has been my life up until two months ago. After the 80 cap silkroad started going downhill, alot of good friends changed servers or started leaving. And now the euro expansion I just cant play silkroad anymore... I really miss the old silkroad 60-70 cap, those were the really good days...
Currently I am looking forward to playing Aion - The Tower of Eternity that is released next year, it looks very good, search it up on youtube there are some videos of it. Well, good luck in your future endeavors mate.

Thank you everyone who has replied.
redneck--I would give you my account (seriously), but I'm afraid I will not allow any misdemeanors on my account to tarnish the name of the guild I have come to love.
Red--- It's been a pleasure meeting you. I hope we can stay in touch.
Madness---Totally feel you
I miss the early 70 cap most of all.
Everyone else: A good life to you guys too!

LOL that's perfect thanks nightbloom
Maybe I should clarify a little more why I'm leaving. To me, doing the laundry has become more entertaining than SRO. It contains more excitement and unpredictability: sometimes my socks turn pink.

If doing the laundry is more exciting than playing SRO then you must be REALLY fed up with this game arent you? Anyways good luck with w/e you're gonna do/play next. Just remember to keep updated so if Joymax creates a bot banner program that lasts for more than 2 weeks you can come back and play with us again[AoW]ForLife wrote:nightbloom wrote:IGUANA NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! =( Ill miss ya.

i should try to read people signatures more, always wondered what happened to you till this topic.
You at least made your time in silkroad as enjoyable as you could be proud of that fact, i still believe most players totally have lost their minds on certain actions they are doing (nothing to do with bots or legits, but with the way they act)
Lets hope you still will come from time to time to help people out don`t think SRF can mis another great soul since its going downhill here too.
lets hope you made a great choice and will enjoy what ever comes next in your life
good luck and don`t forget the most important part to have fun
later

Why do you guys always say good luck in life or whatever or like hope you have a good life. Stuff like that annoys me cuz i play sro and i still have a life. U people always stereo-type SRO players as not having anylife and that they sit in front of computer all day long. Thats just my oppinion.
On Topic- Even though i didnt know you c ya

wishing someone goodluck with something does not mean he does not have it already it is just a common gesture.
no one said lets hope your life changes now and you actually go do things with it everyone is just wishing him goodluck with his life there is nothing wrong with that.
