Where to find Hungry Blood Ongs

I've tried searching the ong habitat as said on the quest description, but I still haven't found them yet (I've searched about 90% of that place and still no Hungry Blood Ongs).

Anyone care to point out their location?

just head south from Samarkland and keep going south...just keep going
and you should see an area with low grass to the left and hills to the right.

and they should be right there...cant miss it

On the road. They have little pieces of paper with the letter Q on top of theior heads.
