And my personal favorite has to be the Iceman. The entrance he made blew me away!


Next movie has to be about Unicron.

The only thing i didn't like about the movie,was the fact that those soldiers were able to figure out the weak spots of the Decepticons so quickly.

The battle with Bonecrusher and Optimus prime was awesome.

Really? you mean where Optimus cut off his head in under 2 mins....that
was a shit fight.

and i would give this movie 5/10.

So where can i begin...ok lets start with the actors/
characters.Now i know Bay is not well know for making and developing good
characters but how the hell does this guy still get movies? almost 1 1/2 hours into
the film with nothing of any intreste happing and we have about 10 or so
different human characters each with their own story line and each one
as boring as watching paint dry. I mean in a film with GIANT ROBOTS who
really gives a f**k or can belive that nerd can get together with the hot
girl next door or an army captian getting home to his baby girl.

And the one set of characters were it of course matters...the Transformers
well what can i say....Jazz was a racsit throw back and while watching him
i really expected him to start quoting 50 cent or ask someone where the
nearest autobot "hoe" was, but at least compared to the others he has
a character. We have Optimus who just quotes tired and repecitive one
liners from the 1980's cartoon, bumblebea who talks out of his radio (yea
its as gay as it sounds).
And while the autobots are bad the depecticons are even worse, where
was the distrust and back stabbing for the show..where were the signs that
starscream wanted to kill megatron and take power himself? where you
ask...no where because between them the Decpticons have around 10
lines of dialogue and then end up dying in either the most stupid or fastest
fashion you can imagen. I mean a film where you have GIANT FRAKING ROBOTS,
why is so much of the story wasted on stuff that you just cant care about.

Now the films story....wow how bad was it...they come to earth to find
some glasses of from e-bay which my lead to a transformer life giving
machine.....OMG whats wrong with the orginal G1 story line i ask? this
film suffers from the problem that most high power actions films do today
10 different story lines running at once, where only one of them is actually
the one we care about. I mean we could of has a good sensitve story
about a boy who gets a new car he loves...only to find out that its really
a transformer, and forget him getting the girl thats not important. What
is important is that he comes to trust and love his transformer, and thats
what it should of been....a kid who has his own transformer. But instead
we have this "bad of good" bullshit and when S-7 come to take him away
did any of us care or feel for him? NO because there was nothing built there to
develop it. The main story line its self is boring...i mean by
the time anything happens it has reached the point that i really didnt care
i mean we had almost 90mins of bad...and i mean BAD jokes..(parents think
hes jerking off, cop threatens him with guy, racial sterotypical black person
"breaks" in front of polics) and these just went old and tired jokes we had
all seen and could tell they were coming...they were lame and so boring.
Bad jokes instead of a proper development of characters or story line.
Bad jokes instead of seeing how the decpticons treat each other with
betraly and back stabbing.
And as for the story...am sorry but Jazz death...what a huge waste of
10 seconds (and after why does it take megatron 6 mins to throw his
body away )...and so many people were laughing (no not at a bad
joke) but at the end when optimus is holding Jazz's body in each hand
like its trash day , i mean talk about build on the emotion of loss

And look at "Frenzy" only reason he made it into the film was because of
the huge fan base complaing about there being no soundwave...so Bay
gives us frenzy...and watching him run about air force one made me
think 2 things. 1= The US secret service is extremly incompetent to not
notice a 5ft tall walking metal stick man on a plane ,2= that the
transformers are magical...yep magical, just like in those films from the
80's where only the kids can see them. I mean how else can you explain
the fact that while giant robots destroy half of downtown LA people
are still driving their cars and working/shopping inside the buildings or
how no one can seem them when there right infront of them.
for me the moment that this film lost all credibilty was when "frenzy" (the
retarded soundwave rip off) got off air force one to get away with
Barricade, now Barricade...the only civilian police are around, comes and
the speeds away 1 minuets later and no one bats and eye lid. Oh and how
does Frenzy get off of air forceone and into barricade you ask? well he
coves his face....OMG YES, you know when you walk past someone and
you dont want them to notice you, so you put your hand to yourself and
wistle or walk fast...well thats what Frenzy does to get past the Secret
Service agents. It was at this point that my brain had switched off and
i realised what kind of movie this would be.....a bad one.

Now for the special effects....i cant fault them at all. Industrial Light and
Magic (Jurrasic park, starwars saga, war of the worlds, Pirates of the
Caribbean, back to the future and many more) have done one of the more
realisitc jobs in recent years. Its the shame that its for just a awful film
but still my hats off to him.
Now as for the robot designs? am sorry but how bad where they? not once
did i belive that they were meant to be what they were...what we have here are
god awful robot designs (optimus with a mouth Starscream a giant chicken,
blackout a wasp). Also when in robot mode there facse looked
the same....with the only way to tell the difference being their colours.
and also how they could change their form at will? WTF was up with that.
but megatron had it bad of all. With hands down one of the worst designs
of all.
its no wonder that the toy makers had to change the designs for their
toys...these robot wheres made needlessly to complicated with literally
every part of them "movable" in the sense that theres no one main part
wow good job Micheal Bay, you can design overly stupid designs that
may be ground brakeing but you still cant tell a simple story without the
end for old racail sterotypes, bad jokes and 101 random storys which
add up to nothing.

But it's about the transformers, and that's the reason i took some friends with me and went to the movie-theater.

ummm NO ok i have all of G1 on DVD and StarScream is decitful and
consently trying to become the new leader of the decpeticons. and he
turns off his sword because it didnt kill megatron and like always he crys
likea girl and begs for forgiveness, but that kill megatron killed him.
oh and starmscream tries to kill megatron because after his fight with
optimus prime (in which prime dies) megatron is badly beat up...look

lmao I think this is the movie of the year. Ive never watched the cartoon series Transformers, and yet through this movie I basically learned the story behind it. cartoon , spielberg was only the executive producer and had little to

lol you know nothing about transformers, thats not what the movie is based
on. Thats one of the 3 lame 1990s' to 2000's transformer remakes that
bombed (armada, energon, cybertron) dude what you watched isnt even
what a true fan would call transformers, its a kiddy version that was toned
down and made a few years back, a basic and quite shit remake of G1
....go and watch G1 (generation 1) ok.
Because i have watched that and all you showed is a few seconds from
a clip that you found on youtube in a hurry...lol you didnt know what it
was. because in that series starscreams tries to kill megatron several times,
even joining the auto-bots to kill him.

if you read carefully,you'll see that i dont know how it is for the other series. its true,i havent watched g1.that series,is the only one i've watched.

i watched transformers as a kid,and thats what i watched.
i never watched g1,and neither will the upcoming year.
maybe ill watch it sometime,nto sure yet.

I FREAKIN LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!

i was a big fan of the toys when i was little and transforming robots have always had a place in my heart. I watched beastwars later and yes i liked that i thought they were amazing looking.....anyway the movie was everything i expected it to be.

It was big, it took its main parts seriously, it was loud.

I was sitting in the theater kicking the seat in front of me when all the Autobots firest gather together and introduce themselves It was exactly what i wanted. And Shia was great as usual, a very talented actor. The chick was hot i'll give her that im not to big on chicks but i couldn't stop looking.

Great movie im buying the DVD when it comes out can't wait for the sequel and i hope its not about Unicron cause he's basically the robot version of Galactus and while i can see the plot it would be way to predictable....

However in your original reply you stated (QFT):

this is not true.starscream never wanted to kill megatron in the original series,and the signs are most obvious.

I would agree with Satman here that in the ORIGINAL series (G1), Starscream was always looking for a way to replace Megatron. He did so on numerous occasions (and failed just about every time too, especially in the end). It is possible that you could not have known that since you never watched G1, but then do not go around and say that Satman was not telling the truth.
