I cant believe this thread is still going.
Lets take a few quotes here
wikipedia my good friend wrote: Free-to-play (F2P) refers to any videogame that has an option of allowing its players to play without paying. Some of these games have both a free version and a Pay-to-play version that offers the full version of the game and all of the updates.
Now, as this definition shows, it allows an option in which a person can play the game without paying. But by not paying, no where does it say they should be entitled to a full experience.
Now, onto my 2nd point. You say that if people buy a pt, it is unfair to the people who dont buy a pt. But, isnt that what item mall was suppose to do in the 1st place? A monkey gives an option in which the user dosnt have to pick up items. It gives them an advantage. Now thats fair enough, if they pay for a monkey, they deserve a monkey. The same thing goes with pt. A pt allows a user to have preference to the server, along with a bunch of other bonuses. And it is fair enough. If they pay for it, they deserve it.
This works for real life situation aswell. In Australia, the sydney harbour bridge is crowded with traffic ( very similar to a server full of traffic ). Now, as a way of getitng people to their destination quicker, they are proposing an idea in which people who pay $25 can go in the bus lane. This is a common example of money gives someone power. Now is this unfair.? no it is not.
If u say u cant afford $20, go out and either get a job and work a few hours a week for it. If you arnt old enough to work, go and mow lawns around your local area, collect cans and sell them for 5c each at a recycling plant. Theres a number of things u can do. As for physically buying the silk, it isnt hard to orange a debit card with your bank. And if your parents dont allow you to get that debit card, then thats bad luck. If u truly want to pay for this game you will be able to form some kind of arrangement with your folks.
This is all in my opinion. I truly believe you have no right to complain. Joymax is a company, and as a company, they have the right to try and make as much money as they can. Thats called a
WISE BUSINESS VENTURE. Why should they loose thousands of dollars to provide a game FREE of charge to people they dont know? Think about it...
