ThottBot
ThottBot
Does anyone know if there is a program/addon for silkroad that runs and collects data while you play. Data as in where monsters are killed, what sorta items they drop, where NPCs are, how much an item is sold for, etc. Similar to the Thottbot for WoW?

Its really, not something bad.
As much as it sounds like a bott, its used to better the game. It actually is used for some of the best mmo's out.
Vanguard, everquest, dark age of camelot. They all have websites such as allakhazams, where you can go and look up monster information, or quest information, or item information, where certain items drop and such. Even zone information, maps and everything.
This wouldnt be useful for SRO typically because mostly everything in SRO is random. Which kinda gets annoying to me, but its different.
So, when he says thottbot, he means just a website where you can find information about the website. Not actually botting.
(Just informing most that dont know, considering most that play SRO have not played real mmos.) These websites are not programs, everything is submitted by users.
Its simply an online guide for the game. thottbot.com or allakhazams magical realm, are in no way third party programs.

Doesn't sound like anything bad, a lazy and unnecessary(it seems) way to get info for a site if anything lol, but still something you would most likely get banned for on sro.
Like pk2 editing, its not bad but if you do it you just might be screwed out of your account :d.
And sites like http://sro.mmosite.com/ already pretty much have all the info for sro you could want.
