Well I think That 1* Poping can still happen when mercants and thifes work togheter.

For example

High lvl merch follow 1* trader then pops him then his thife friend takes.

yes but thief spawns have like attacking priorities(im pretty sure i read this somewhere o_O). like 1.hunter 2.merchant 3. thief 4. normal player . Something like that. sooo normally when thiefs spawn em they go after the merchants and kill them. but when merchants spawn them, itll just attack them

What i think will happen...

1* popping will be too hard...

So. All thiefs will quit and go merchant, other than for job warring.

Which sucks.

But then, with the lack of thiefs, traders will go for 5 star.

Then me, sticking thief 100%, will steal them all :D

I think JM is going for easier trade which is a good idea...
But now everyone will want to go thief for the large* benefits so there won't be that many traders :(

OT: Is it harder to farm a ice/light nuke with the lack of the strong fire nuke?
cause im gonna farm at penons at 54 so just curious

Yes, npc thiefs have attacking priorities and those would be :
1.hunter
2.merchant
3.any unlucky player that might be around
4.thief...
Well, after the euro update, jobbing will suck even more. Since now you would've been able to pop people, now you won't....WTF, it's illogical that any trade should be 100% safe, like 1*'s would be...imho they should really find out a better jobbing system or else the game will be ruined. All the people who hit lvl 20 would jump onto a horse and trade like 24/7. Thiefs would dissapear since the only thing left for one to steal would be goods on the ground...which arent worth a lot and are an opportunistic business. Not many would go multistars becoz they can still be killed as easy as before if they are spotted.
Nobody would go 5*s without serious support from hunters simply because it is very difficult to survive a 5* on your own. So CobbZ keep on dreaming.

So, as i see, jobbing will transform in some kind of perverted cape pvp fighting with nothing unique in it. Roads would be full of traders and their trail of npc thiefs,since many dont even kill their own npc's.
Now we all know 2moons is coming out, so if this is a way for joymax to keep silkroad interesting(making it even more dumber) GL for them. I sincerely doubt it will work.

I don't know what JoyMax means with that. If other 1* traders are enemies or enemies are simply you, transport and wolf?

npc thieves attack only ones that spawned them , noone else , read it on europe official site !

I think popping with lightning npc hunters will still work, I saw a video where high lvl players were kiling bots with their light hunter

After the update, the NPC thiefs will ONLY attack traders and hunters, they can't attack someone without a jobbing suit and they can't attack player thiefs, they spawn NPC Hunters.

just cause its that way in cSRO doesn't mean it'll be that way in iSRO....the update page never mentioned anything about 1* trades being attackable after lvl 40 and thats a pretty big thing to leave out don't you think....

Also the lighting thief pop strategy is sucha random thing and it only works on low lvls....like really low lvls 20-30....you'd have to keeping following the guy (assuming you have any loot at all) and HOPE a lighting thief spawns then catch up to the guy and stay close enough for it to do damage....waste of time unless your desperate imo

And i think high lvl NPC thiefs will attack high lvl players first.....priority....

Nop. Normal players and thieves can't atack those npc thieves and vice versa.

So, is it true or not that 1 star is attackable by player thiefs if the merchant is over lvl 40?

Actually, if you want to be really specific, I don't think the website has any mention about stars at all. Is that mean they're getting rid of stars? See that's normally called jumping into conclusions; but then JM is not exactly normal. :wink:

Since im in an all theif guild, want an all theif union but that was ruined with the theives guild rivalry.

But anyways, 1 * Popping to me is fun, yea im lvl 63, and i9ts noobish for me to take out a 1 star lvl 20 but hey, i feel strong for a while until a hunter comes around. 1 star popping i dont think will ever die as long as people have the guts to contnue theiving..


PS: Theives guild i wanted to union with you but our leader and your leader had their differences, hopefully we can work it out and have a 100% theif union... soomme day
