Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
Would say S/S prolly just because you are a STR user. Gonna be weird getting used to not tanking much as an INT. S/S pure INTs i have seen out tank many in armor with good gear, and im just talkin blues and some + not like SoM. KD helps a ton when you are needing space. Spear is good as well and does ridiculous damage, but unless you utilize Ice/Fire walls you lack that defense which leave you pretty vulnerable.
I would say S/S. You do tons of damage anyhow, shield's defense definately comes in handy.

I agree!! Hehehe.. But takes a lot of farming! And be prepared to sacrifice ice.. I had a hard time letting it go, but couldn't resist the glamour of dual wep. You should definitely wear armor, use spear at first to level fast to 30 to get your nukes, I personally think farming goes much faster after lvl 30 so you might benefit farming in the DR or on the ice.. And practice practice practice! You don't need macro's to dual wep, Ive seen a ton of videos with people who are really good at switching.
Realistically speaking... if you're not going to be doing a lot of pvp then you should not go dual wep. Ice would be more beneficial. Good luck to ya ^_^

Int Duel Weapons owns, you match up good vs any build...the defense of a sword/shield with the power of the spear. This build can be very deadly if used right, but thats the key using it right, it's not for everyone.

Not to mention, it takes a LOT of practice when you're new to that style of PVP. You have to configure your quickslots so that your layout is comfortable for you. I've watched a lot of dual weapon INT users and none of them were even close to using the same style of layout.
Another big thing is timing. If you can perfect the timing between switches, you'll never miss a beat and you will go from skill to skill very fast with no default "slashing" inbetween. This was my biggest problem when I first started. I was slow at going from F3 to F4 to F1, and I lost a lot of time and damage. The faster you can switch, the better luck you will have.

why would a pure int go dual skills? Its like why would a pure int have lvl 70 force? Honestly guys, if you guys want to nuke and help your guild take ice. even without the 80 skills ice keeps you alive. If you are pure int i say s/s garment protector or armor are ok. Whatever you prefer. if you are pure int spear you need armor without question. Keep the ice as long as you can and dont be a smack tard and get res. If you want to be a healer make a pure str char so you dont need ice to keep you alive. If you want to be dual skill you are better of as str also glavie blade or glavie bow etc cause you can take alot more damage. Just my opinion take it if you want.
