pk2 not working says string canot be found when trying to mod 2nd deg glaive to 8th and 2nd deg garm to 8th help plz

You must be doing the wrong search, If you are using XVI32 make sure you CHECK the Unicode setting "use Unicode Latin" or something like that. And do the search from the Begin.

For Glavie

Find:
item\china\weapon\tblade_02.ddj
Replace:
item\china\weapon\tblade_08.ddj

Then

Find:
item\china\weapon\tblade_02.bsr
Replace:
item\china\weapon\tblade_08.bsr

Garment

Find:
\clothes_02
Replace:
\clothes_08

It should be fine... is the Unicode setting checked? maybe that's the problem...

Make sure you click ALL of those boxes, and make sure you're in Media.pk2.

i did all that i folowed the guide in guides section the first one i di that and it says string cannot be found im in media.pk2 im checking all the boxes it tells me to do

Make sure your slashes -> ////// \\\\\ are the right direction, I usually make that mistake when doing it by hand >.<, it could also have something to do with Case Sensitivity.

I'll upload a modified media.pk2 with ONLY 2nd degree glaive to 8th degree, and 2nd degree garment to 8th degree. (Sure you don't want 9th? Or any other modifications?)

for helping me ill give u a secret that was posted by someone else its a way to get 100-10k wind lvl 2 elements cheap and make a lot of gold out of it
see the poll/guide 3 posts under this one that actualy works i tried it last night i made 500k from 700k now i got 1.2 mil and i only have sold wind 2 and wind 1 sets i still have 6 other stacks to go
