JM... gotta love em -.-

Post by NicoTeen »

so... my guildmate was hacked a few days ago, someone got her id, email and question... after the person dced she managed to change her pw, but later he changed it again and also changed the email... acc is ofc lost, so i wrote and email to MD hoping she or someone might help... this is what she responded

The secret question/answer, email address, and password protect user account security. I am sorry to inform you that as it is the user's responsibility to protect his/her personal account information, if the information has been compromised, we cannot assist in recovering that account.

In the future we suggest that you change your email address and password often, use a combination of letters and numbers in the password, and do not visit any illegal sites or download illegal programs. Please do not give out your account information to others.

so ofc they know the info since they own all accounts and shit, but they dont care and wont help since YOU r responsible for the lack of security... so nice :banghead: :x

yea i figure they do, but she didnt bot or share her info... and as for the security... a person that wants ur acc just has to get to know u a bit better and ask a few question which might seem innocent and can get more then u know... but starting another thread bout sro security is kinda pointless... i just wanted to say how much they "care" bout their customers, paying i might add, and choose to do nothing even tho they could help... i guess only smart thing in this situation is a charge back... since u cant play why should anyone enjoy ur hard work -.-

EDIT: i was playing another game, which was free in total, not item mall or nothing so if u lose ur acc (in which btw u didnt have to put so much effort in), anyways, there when u change ur email ur old 1 is still valid for a week so it was much harder to steal someones acc, and here as soon as u change old 1 stops being valid

It has been established a long time ago that Joynax security is a flarking joke and their customer support is mediocre. What's new?
