regarding the poll i vote fire...way better damage
as for the bow....i think hybrid is better because the bow is not specialized on one build ...like spear for int and glavie for str...it depends very much on the status it has...and even if u are full str on bow u won't give great damage as if u were on glavie...
and as a hybrid my advise is to keep the phy balance and the mag balance equal...that is a real hybrid
lol way better dmg? Did you guys even bother to read this thread where several people posted screenshots showing the dmg's to all be the same... or did you just vote on the poll
[Red Sea] Level 80 Full Int.
"Your a pushy little bastard ain't ya, but I like that.. I like that!"
Book 4 maxed against each other and book 1, so where's this big dmg difference then and where's the low dmg lol? Unless you've actually experimented with them and taken them to the max then you can't really go by just what the descriptions say. There's only a 400 dmg difference here between fire 1 and 4. The dmg varies with both imbues but as far as max dmg differences go there's none as far I can see, certainly nothing like you'd expect.
Topic proved ice is a better imbue no need for more struggle
the problem with imbues it that most people focus towards pvp and as usual everyone with fireshield will be a harder enemy no matter what imbue but that slight more damage might change the outcome of a pvp.
i think the most common reason people choose an imbue is not because of its own attack power but because they want to use that tree as their main. i mean people who want good dmg (especially nukers) would choose fire imbue because fire nuke is the best. people like me who want minimum sp usage would choose light imbue because light tree gives me grasswalk and a number of other buffs.
Ive always thought of like this... if you look at what the buffs do.
Fire = Str
Cold = hybrid
Light = Int
Just look at the buffs. Fire has lots of magical def, Cold has physical def and slowing, light has magical boosters and speed. Just seems to make sense. I made an int light nuker, no fire at all to prove that it's completely doable. That char easily made it high level, doesnt die in PVP as easily as you would think, etc. Fire does the most magical dmg but that is because physical skills arent high dmg and fire makes up for that. Cold is all about defense which a hybrid would need to boost. Take a secondary force as a booster for whatever direction you are going. Pure int spear might need extra def cause dmg would be high, so light cold spear. Hybrid might want extra speed and magical boost to up their dmg so cold light S/S.
Seems to make sense.
