firstly. let me ask this 1 question and think about it.

Do YOU think that if sum1 didnt bot that they would NOT have there char logged in to the game anyway??? stalling, AFK in town or whatever???

answer is obviously no. obvcourse they would log in. read on

for this explanation i use a made up person.

BOB 1 (boter)and BOB2 (non botter)

ok lets take "bob 1" a person who uses a bot. (made up)

Bob logs in to sro in the morning and then bots all day while he works and also when he comes home and then throughout the night. he does this everyday. he sumtimes gets DC and canot log in as he is not there. so essentualy he cannot bot 24/7 days a week. but near enough

now!

let take "bob 2" a person who doesnt bot

Bob logs in in the morning and stalls his sos shit ect. he goes to work,school or watever. he comes home and hand grindes. he then stalls over night and does this every day.

DO U UNDERSTAND my point ?????

essentualy player bots attribute maximum 10% to server traffic "MORESO THAN IF THEY WERE LEGIT" and this is not even 24/7.

A player bot takes JUST 1 server spot just like legits and the only diff is they do a prgramm to grind and legtis dont.

You will find legits stall ALOT and bots do not.

You will also find by using a brain that legits stalling CAUSES TRAFFIC. not player bots

now... gold farming bots are a different matter. but they are not player bots so dnt blame player bots for that either.

I dnt like player bots but i find it stupid when peolpe blame them for traffic when it is "indeed yourselves staling ur gear"that causes it.

bottom line iS as i stated at the top. A legit is online nearly just as much as a player bot because u hav to include stalling and randon AFKing ASWELL AS THE TIME THEY HANDGRIND..

DONT LIE AND SAY U DO NOT STAY LOGGED IN WHEN UR NOT HANDGRINDING PEOPLE. WE ALL DO!

bots have multiple chars to stall for them even while theyre botting.

how would you like it if someone was multiclienting bots and stall chars.

plus no one likes bots, you have to race them to a monster and if you get there at the same time they do like 90% of the damage cuz theyre always at mobs that are 5 levels lower than them. :banghead:

ks option on is worse.

NO NO. i no what u mean. i here this is clientless boting. this is very rare. and im takling about single client botting. not multiclient. maybe 2% use clientless bot for multi like u sugest.

edit. im only making this thread because bots are being blamed for the premium ticket and server traffic. FALSE
and im not talking about KSing or anything else. im talking about server traffic!

yep i here they are nicer people. i found many boting guilds where absolutely everyone uses TS and vent and are happy as they hav nuthin to complain about.

i wont join the dark side tho lol.

This game isnt made for people that are grinding 24/7. Look at the grinding places there are to much botters right now. So what has this to do with the server traffic.

You have to know that when you make a game you have to think about a couple of things. One of those is, what about the server traffic?

SRO chose for AFK stalling what is allowd. So this aint a problem with the server traffic. AFK grinding (botting) isnt allowd because it causes more server traffic.

NExt: stalls are spec designd for AFK. You only load the character (where it stands, visual) + stall name. When you click on the stall the content will load at that time.

What about grinding (botters)
Normal without botters i have to load 3 persons, what they are doing (where they walk, what they wearing enc), howmuch dmg they do, there wolf, howmuch dmg enc enc. Well this is a server traffic for (example) 3kbs.

Alright, now im with the botters. More chars arround me, dmn 7 botters here. Calculate the server traffic....

So stallers isnt the problem (its what MD told us 100000 times) they dont use much server traffic. It are the botters that causes it.

When the big bot list came out, the servers where populated. This is because the botters where banned not stallers.

i know 2139239845388573440935812374 bots in venice who are online all the time. they dc once a week and that's when it's inspection.

legit: takes 1 spot.
botter: takes 1 spot.

What we usually do...

is we have a stall DC competition when its server traffic/. We compete who gets to dc the number of stall the fastest. So we got like several people in party dc'ing stalls and letting people who wanna play log in.

BTW the complete game is all about Jobs and Leveling ... so if u need to do jobs & leveling u need gold ..... WTF rv gonna get them if we do not stall....

there are 10x more bots than legits in sro.from what ive seen, legits tend to log off while botters stay online 24/7 lvling.
