I'm not sure about all of you guys here at the forums, but I've been getting pretty annoyed at the cannot connect due to server traffic message that I've been getting for the past 4 days making it impossible to play even during the day when it used to be populated just last week. So i thought about an idea that i think would help service.

Every 12 hours all servers will be reset so it allows players to log in when "afk" players get d/c. And seing as how Bot users are afk, they won't know when the servers get reset(unless they're lazy loser botters watching their bot,which would make the bot pointless), so in turn allowing legits to be able to play. A GM notice should be potsed ingame atleast 10 min before the reset. The reset shouldn't be a big deal, only to log every char out for about 5-10 minutes, then hey have to log back in.

I would appreciate your opinions on this Idea.

It would be annoying though. In the 5 or so minutes that it takes for the server to get reset, thats 5 minutes of GT down the drain. Though the idea aint that bad. People would just go afk after the reset IMO. Also if im in the middle of some hardcore grinding it would be dam annoying to have to log out for 5 minutes, wait for the server to re boot, then log back in.

But still, thats some clever thinking there, though i choose not to vote

Yes I think it would be a good idea if servers were reset once in a while.
But not make it every x hours, make it every ~x hours that way it is random enough so botters can't set their alarm for 1 minute before the reset and come rigth back on.

GT time could be stopped or postponed till rese is done. U ould get a warning 10 min early also. And ll those bots tht wee ksing you could be gone

either way, random or not, it would affect the afk stallers more :roll:

good idea they should do the reset when they normally do the server inspection (least amount of ppl r on) and it should help with bots and server traffic.
