skill point farming is when a player has a 9 lvl difference between the char lvl and his highest mastery lvl. The more the gap, the more sp you will gain, but the less normal xp you will gain. So most sp farmers build a 9 gap then start to whats called "sp farm".

not maxing out ur skills the second u can

why?

so u can get better skills in the future

e.g. a lvl 50 w/ no sp farming will have the same skills as a 40 who does sp farm.... u wanna be a lvl 50 w/ 40 skills

(yeah didnt think so, also i may have over/understated, idrk)

To me, farming isn't a 9 gap. Farming is staying at a certain level until you have the desired amount of sp you want. A 9 gap should be used while farming as it gives the most sp. When you get too high of a level, you delevel back to where you need to be. Usually you want to farm at a level when a new degree begins so that the new weapon(sos or higher) you get will be much stronger than the monsters you fight. If you can't afford an sos, any level will work. If you just level up with a 9 gap, I call that "9-gapping".
