What would you do - WoW related
of the 7 guild members that went to WoW with me only one (besides me)is currently active, but not as much and he's much lower level.
I'm in a fairly large guild with 15-20 70's, maybe 5-10 of them are active during my timezone. While they are helpful on occasion, when I need it they are busy (and I understand that, but it's frustrating). I'm currently using a 47 BM hunter and can solo quests of my level without much difficulty.
An old friend contacted me recently and said he's got a guild on another server and wants me to come over. He's even offered to pay the transfer fee (granted its not a big deal, I can afford it). The problem is that his guild is small and I would be the third highest level member, the highest being level 62 (accroding to the armory stats).
The pros are that I know a couple guys in the guild and they are active. WoW is not a great game for soloing so I'd rather be in an active guild. But without some high levels its tough at higher levels. It's also difficult as there wouldn't be the support network of alts that the high levels have on my current server to make items and open lockboxes, etc.
The other alternative is to find another guild on my server, but it seems as though there aren't alot recruiting, or find a different server entirely. None of the servers are PvP (I'm not into PvP servers).
Just wondering what others think. What would you do?

First, I'm not playing WoW, so I don't really know too much about it. Please keep it in mind.
But I would move to the other server.
Because your current guild isn't too active when you are playing, and you said yourself that they're busy if you need help.
The other guild on the new server might be small, but you can always recruit new members right? So it could be a larger guild with a bunch of high level players aswell.
Just think of what you want in the game right now, and see where you can get it, on your old server or the new one.

I would go to your friend's guild. Right now the guild is not strong but later, you can merge with a bigger guild to run end game raids. WoW (or any MMO) is 10 times more enjoyable when you're among friends. Should you choose not to merge, just reroll another tune, play other roles in the group as your alt (like tanks or healers), get more professions to complete your guild's need. Soon you'll have enough people at 70 to run raids.

Update- and a warning.
I dedicded to drag my feet a bit on the move decision to see what was going on. I created a character on my friend's server and added all the characters he plays (and some other friends') to my friends list. Not once over the course of 3 days were any of them online when I was.
I got on his vent. I was there alone every day (logged in his and mine simultaneously).
A buddy that was thinking of switching too made a character and was invited in the guild. He checked the log in dates. only 8 characters logged in in the past month.
To top it off I guess the guy had some sort of paranoid meltdown late last night in vent about me ???
I had a talk with the leader of my current guild and he talked to some of the other high level guys and they are now making an effort to help the lower people.
So before you make a rash decision do your homework and weigh your options. Thanks to the people invited me to their server too!
