so you suggest me getting lightning skills also? (will i be able to do that?) and if so, which ones since you cant use 2 imbues at a time, just the buffs and grasswalk?
i think u shud jus go ice/lightning and get force up to 17, n i kno u cant use 2 imbues at the same times. for lightning get all the buffs n grasswalk those r nice and always mix Any atack with the ice imbue for example get lionshock and mix it with cold imbue so it can do dmg,slow/freeze them
which is a good combo when ur pvping when u start cuz its ranged. so ReMEMBEr if ur going the ice route MIX ALL ur atacks with the cold imbue even the lightning atacks.
Me, i would rather go the fire route... as a pure str, you will have massive hps as it is so why not add some nice damage output onto that rather than just fortifying your defense further? Another way to look at it, with ice, you will do considerable less damage than fire, but survive longer. But with the damage output you gain with fire, you will be able to kill it without taking as much damage and will be able to use potions to regain what uve lost. With ice however, there are no pots to make you kill faster.... only to heal/cure your hp/mp, meaning you will both be wasting more pots and more of your time. I tried explaining it the best i could, sorry if its hard to understand.
now the next thing what this fire doode said, 1 i dont SEe the MAssive atk difference Between ice n fire for lvl 10-20 its probly about at the most 30-50 difference dmg, n yes u might think thats alot but think about it would like to get 1 hit in that does a tit more dmg or 2 hits in while they only get 1 hit on u because there slowed or even better frozen and since is the wpn that attacks the fastest y not use that to ur advantage
more attacks=more chances to get frozen and i think 2 hits with cold imbue should do way more dmg than 1 hit with fire imbue, n im not sayn fire is better im jus sayn ice is good when u use it right
actually, since i changed form fire to ice, i haven't used NEARLY as many pots. why would i need to if the enemy is frozen or slowed and can't attack?
second, i've said it before and i'll say it again..... i have not noticed the huge damage difference everyone's talking about. i've pvp'd fire users and won. yea, maybe they had a crappy build, but maybe they didn't, i have no idea.
the point is, you will NOT be gimped if you use ice, no matter what some people may try to tell you. i like my build 10x better than it was, so there's no way i would switch. just my opinion....
now i like what geobot is sayn , he experimented !! when ppl didnt know how to use ice and saw ppl there levels hit 20-30 more than them they get discouraged and think there character is weak but remember ur gettn more hits on them and gettn hit less since there slowed or frozen. some ppl in this forums read tose super high level ppl talkn n think yeah thats the best way to go fire all the way..but i really think ice is the best imbue but i may be wrong because lets say u get to the higher levels maybe fire can 1 hit kill othere ppl in pvp idk cuz im not in that lvl yet>< but for now i kno that ice owns butt. now to say what i alrdy said again so i can get it clear would u rather slow/freeze them in pvp so that you can get 2-3 hits in at the time they only get 1 hit in???hmm its pretty simple of course ice will hit weaker but itll get more hits in which i think is more effective
and i think ice goes best with sword because of the speed of attacking the sword gives whihc gives more chances to slow/freeze them..
