Losing drops

Hey guys,
Because i can't farm in bandit den because of a stupid graphical glitch I'm trying to farm a bit until i take my comp to his shop for a repair.

Now to the point: I was killing some tigers, suddenly a high lvl thief on horse passes by he spawns a thief that attacks me :banghead:

that isn't so bad because I'm farming anyway but then when i'm dead I see I lost one of my drops a shoulder.

Now im just wondering why is this happening I'm only lvl 18 so no murder status and such

I'm scared next time i lose my sos bow to farm :cry:

Is this normal or does this only happen on occassion cause It's first time i have this with a new char?

I also noticed this while deleveling my alt lvl 16 farming character. I lost lvl 16 wrists +6 but I was logged in on other pc with my high level and picked it up....

yea you cna drop even without murder... murder give more chance to drop...

It's strange it was first time it happened when im just fighting.
I never had that before, and I didn't delvl yet my friend lost his helmet that way :wink:

you cant drop equipt weapons so your safe with your sos bow

Yeah... you can. The +6 wrists were equipped when they dropped

if you unequip everything .. is it possible you still lose items?

Oh and MrBow: If u unequip everything and leave it in ur inventory u CAN lose your items
But if u put everything in ur storage u can't lose anything it's "safe" there

same if you have a monkey if i got murder in a crowded space i put all but wep in my squirrel and any thing i can drop that i need there aswell

Ive delevled 12031023123934929913943288761342089813248623875627893456873216497854235 times with my sos set + som bow. Never lost a thing, but i did loose some arrows sometimes though, wich were non eq'd.

Maybe its a bug and maybe u guys got it wrong.

u cant drop weapon period, murderer status or not, u cant drop the weapon equipped, shield. yes. everything else, yes.

but weapon when equipped no, everyone says "when level 3 murderer of above u can drop weapon"

not true, ive been level 4 on my character multiple times, never dropped my glaive that was equipped

well I lost that shoulder anyway,
I was only scared to lose my weapon

you can too drop a weapon, someone went pink on my guildmate a long time ago and he killed him. then his blade dropped and he stole it and sold it back to him - and yes i witnessed it im not just taking his word for it.

They updated that a few months ago, before that you could drop your equipped weapon aswell.

u DROP ur items cuz u DIE ALOT..... within 1 day.... >_> period....
to NOT LOSE/DROP items... dont die alot in 1 day.... done... problem solved...
