Silkroad - In window's mode.

Post by Avalanche »

People tell me that to make SRO Window's mode, you have to press windows key + alt + enter. Doesn't work, just opens up media center for me. Anyone else know how?

Hit "ctrl + alt + del" to bring up the task manager.
Click on the "processes" tab.
Find "ehtray.exe" and right click on it, end process tree, and ok.

Now the shortcut works.

It does work. press windows + alt +enter. I have noticed that if you are chatting it will not work. just make sure you are focused on your character.

Hold "Windows" & "ALT" then hit "Enter"

Yeah windows mode saves more memory.
A reason why SRO never improved, it came from our beloved SRO seniors.
Had given my account to my Guildmate, raising a new char.

Yes, I'm running WinMC right now and typed that up as I did it.

I didn't see any other options to disable that hotkey for WinMC.

After you are done with SRO and toggling, just run "C:\WINDOWS\ehome\ehtray.exe" and it's back to normal. I've verified that too.

That's usually a video card issue that DirectX cannot switch modes successfully due to not enough resources or something along those lines. Are you using an old card or outdated drivers? Whats video size on the card?
