WHY THE HELL IS THERE MORE SERVER TRAFIC AFTER THE UPDATE

I dnt understand y since the update, server traffic is far worse. People talk about botters being the problem. Alot of them were booted and logging in should be easier. but past 3 days ive spent 3-4 hours each time trying to log in. That does not add up. I never spent more than 20 min b4 the update. wots going on?

Also i want to point out sumthing no one has ever mentioned.

I think alot of people want to play this game but dont because the problems. If there was no server trafic i would guess there would be around 50% more people playing the game. That would end in SERVER TRAFIIC anyway. so we lose both ways. if this loggin in problem ever gets sorted we will get server traffic not from botters but EVEN MORE people playing the game ............ :S

i HATE people who do not like the moaning from users.

U people dont think we should complain....... IF WE CNT PLAY THE GAME WHAT ARE WE SUPOSE TO BE LIKE.... oh dnt worry GM il just try again tomorrow and the day after and the day after that. ur doing a great job well done. maybe il get on once a month lol.

GET REAL . I wonder why they dnt responed to these threads.

Wot makes me laugh is when u open silkroadexe and they say " xxxxx has ben fixed we are sorry for the problem this may have caused. While ur actually reading there appollogy you are on ur 50th login try HAHA.

End of the day . where r the GM in game??? there not. thats all that needs to be said. If they came on then they would find bots very easy. its not rocket science. they suck

I dnt want any one mocking my thread saying im talking crap and the GMS do there best. not one thing they hav done has worked 1st time lol. not even the event.

Me and many others are on the verge of quiting. If these problems are so comon and this game is just a small version of the KSRO. can u see us getin the new patch any time soon. no way. at this rate we wnt get a beter game for a long time.

This game has potential to be the best. I bet KSRO OWNZ. if u got a korean on our version i think they would die of laughter.

Its a shame that the customer service sucks or should i say doesnt exist.

Im sure we would not complain this much if they could at least say why we cnt log in etc. not knowing the real cause of it is what pisses us off the most....

Talking about them not being able to do anything right. i couldt even register on the website because of sum IP problem. had to get a friend to do it!! i can buy silk on the website. " silkdata error!!!! i can post threads it doesnt work. so yes just about everything from there site to installing opening and playing and staying on the game sucks.

yea its been said many times but i kinda put most problems all into one thread. i am sure ive missed more out. like disconection etc.

I just had to say it for my own satisfaction. been gettin so pissed off lately frustration builds up. lol glad its off my chest.

Well actually,... i agree with jleyens,
cause... i started to play this game one month ago..
its seems to be a great game and i was right,..
it is but.. everyday i want to login... i have to do it like 50 times
it just realy sux.. my idea was.. close the register account thingy,...
so we wont get more players... and we wont have the server traffic...
at least not more server traffic..
you can say yeah but than there is not any n00b in the game what should be... yeah there wont be 1..
but there are people wich start everyday a new character
so there will be low levels...
and people who are idle (AFK) Away From Keyboad,
to just let m automaticly disconnect after 2 hours also if they r in a stall..
that would give other players more room and more chance to get in cause the server wont be full

this is just my idea... i hope the staff will do something about the damn traffic...

Its cause people like me can play now, Adelphia unblocked the joymax DNS and now we can play SRO, so all of us are whoring it up for a month and a half of work thats been lost.

Weekend + event is on + half term (kiddies off from school for a week)=
not very easy to log in :banghead:

Yeah its a mmorpg, but i've never known one have traffic problems like this before. The fact its free is why there is problems. It means:
1) Its popular with people who don't want to pay a monthly subscription
2) Its popular with people who can't pay a monthly sub. ( no credit card/not old enough to own one)
3) Being free means you can flout the rules without worrying about loosing real money and getting banned. ie botters / cheaters / scammers / ccf'ers.

They should consider some of the following to solve the issues:
1) Consider making the game have a subscription. This would deter botters, reduce server load etc

2) Kick AFK'ers / people with stalls logged in for more than a certain amount of time. 6hours maybe? Ive seen the same people logged in for days that dont move .... thats one less person who could log in and play.

3) Implement a queing system when you log in, so you log in and wait for place to become free and kept informed of where you are in the que.

Theres plenty they could do to alleviate the problems and remove the scum from this game. :cry:

Every1 who is a bot or AFK cnt do it therefor there kicked. simple. thats the answer to this problem. cnt mock it. its being used in another game. not sure which tho.

GM can change drop rates and add exp and gold amounts so i think they can do this very easily.

Just goes to sho these GM's dnt even take time to find solutions.

iv added some of this to the sticky and for anyone in the future needs anything adding to it let me know its there to help and keep this place tidy of all the i cant connect spam we get
