Xian is home... Everything I have ever known about this game and the ppl I have played with since the very beginning are here. I dont want to start on a new server.

I'll just reroll another char with him and we will make new names for ourselves. You cant keep a good pair down, no matter how you try.

I am still speechless til this point. I guess this is what things have become. Nightbloom can u pm me your msn I wanna chat to you. I honestly think this is a seriously huge problem that needs to be solved. I dont know how a legit character could be hacked like that. JM really need to get things together.

We got a lot of issues like botting, ccfing, but hacking? That cannot be taken lightly.

Well good to know you guys are restarting. I wish you the best. I'm curious how long it would take you guys to get to 70 again. I'm assuming 2-3 months without a gap and some hard core grinding.

A blader name Aidan from Troy got hack, he was the first to get there and he got hack at 70. Turned around, reroll a character name _Aidan_, farmed 100k sp, got to lvl 70 all within 2-3 months without bot or powerlevel...its amazing, and can be done.

Hacking is a very serious matter, and it is also a SERIOUS criminal offence. Although wouldn't CCF be too... Well anyway back to the topic...

And I can understand why you wouldn't want to leave xian too nb. Im still so sad for you and fly... It's amazing how stubborn you two are though, except, stubborn in a good way.

Enough of other servers, they are still gonna be on xian, Well get the fly account back too eventualy, and nightbloom and fly will be back just like before, you'll see ;p.

it's too bad that this game doesnt have any better policies. Fly was a cool guy. Joymax needs a larger service support which is why I applied for the job.

Back in the day when I played Ragnarok, they would actually investigate an account that was reported to have been hacked. If they find that someone did illegally log on to the character, they would roll back to that time period to restore all the character's items and zeny. The problem was that people do happen to share accounts with people they trust (thats still violation to term of service). So if they do find out that you "falsly" reported a hacked account, you and the person would be banned! hardcore!

But yeah. Sad time. MMOs are like a way of life, if you lose your account, it's as if you lost all the days of your life playing. Its something that you can never get back.

It would definatly be nice to have a service that has a policy on hacking better then "if you get hscked its your own fault" -_-.

should be done too, considering al ot of players put money into their accounts/characters and such, bneing hacked is robbery of their digital items, but also any money they have invested into them, which is part of real life.

not one to read policies myself so I don't know much on it

I'm just a "read this agree to that? stfu and let me play the game *click click*" type but something should be done about this, or atl east started to be done >_>

Luckily not to long before this he gave leadership to his alt, so the guild was unharmed, cept for guildstorage.

Avalon will still be Avalon. Fly is not a Quitter. Someone may have stolen the pixilated Fly, but we still have the real thing.

If I understand the mechanism correctly that can only be done after 50 days of guild master inactivity. And depending on how big a douche the hacker is he could boot everyone from the guild before they could do that anyway. I just recently used the vote feature on another acct of mine to take over the first guild I was ever in. It died before it ever got to lvl 2. But that was only due to funds. Hehe at some point if I liked I could just pay the 3 mill for lvl 2 and then add it to union or sell it. I keep it mostly now for nostalgia.

wow. when i heard about this at first i thought ppl were joking or something...

even as our guilds havent always been on the best of terms (understatement? esp recently? >.>) i hope you will accept my deep and honest condolences. that's just not right. when things like this happen, you really get a sense that things just shouldn't be this way. im almost surprised myself that i felt so strongly about this, but i can really sympathize with all the stuff you said about you two. through all the drama and other crap, ive come to realize that it _is_ really about the people that are important to you. there are a few people like that to me in this game as well, and it's exactly true what you said--i couldnt care less about anything else, my lvl, my guild, my stuff, etc. as long as i'm still with those people.

hmm i think i was going somewhere with this, or maybe i never was and my procrastinating (paper) brain tricked itself into thinking it did... anyway i apologize if i ended up babbling on about some nonsense. i guess simply what im trying to say is, i feel ya and give my best wishes and sincerest condolences. really, believe me or not =x but in thinking the way you do above, i think you two will be okay ^_^ best wishes again and i hope to see you both back at cap soon, even if it just means more drama and hate with my guild XD

By the way, to bruteforce someone, don't you have to know the account name already ?

No. But it's not like joymax has not allowed those to be leaked anyhow. Many ppl use the same login name as their char name.

i havent played my character all day. honestly. becuase of this paper im (still) writing right now. that was a friend of mine who grinded my gold time for me today. maybe you think thats just some lame excuse and i cant make you believe me but why would i say that in game then go to all the trouble to make that post here? i have some crazy image complex that i have to act all nice on here?

im not writing that so you ppl will like me or anything. sorry if you got the wrong impression or something. as i said, i really dont care all that much what ppl in this game think of me beyond the couple of people that are truly important to me. i just read this like 5min ago and what nb said really did touch a chord with me so i thought i'd respond. thats all. if you dont believe me then oh well. i just dont like being thought of unfairly so i thought i'd clarify. thank you.

that was me- and i dont really care that he got hacked, same thing that winter said, only care about a few ppl in this game, its what keeps you around dont u think?
