I'm sick and tired of them, gold bots and others. It's gotten difficult to find an open area to grind in there's so many of them. I'm going to list them here and start spamming the bug reports with their names. Please feel free to add.

These are at Yetis. I counted over 20 last night, I just forget their names now.

Hey, if I'm not mistaken I managed to take down bushifu a couple of days ago (if he's reading this:

). He got himself stuck on the ice at the pillars around the center buliding (humping the wall), so I figured I'd not let him get bored, and lured some penon warriors on him. In the end it took 3 of them to kill him.

Ok, in addition to bushifu (not the one I got killed unfortunately) I have:
YUFEIYING (whom I did get killed)
De4thBlOw (an occasional botter; got a SS of him humping the wall)
all botting on the ice.
I've also seen a ton of archer bots at the crossroads at Yeti's, but I'll have to get their names some other time.

There seems to be a new type of gold bot: ice archer wearing garments. At least bunwangs and hyencheongs are crowded of them.

yea i saw the ice archerrs wearing garm... i go by there to the oasis. there's xuande91, xuande92, huanyx, dajiahao, babarao (another boter but not ice archer garm type) and ROoid (also not ice archer bot type).

I spent a good hour freezing the yeti bots on Sunday (I was bored waiting for my ticket to kick in). I gave special attention to ICEredboy from Kurota Tribe whom I kept frozen for a good 30 minutes. Sadly he's a pure str glaiver and not even a giant and 2 champs would take him down. He never once acknowledged it, attacked me, said anything or did anything other than keep killing.

Most of them ignored me although 1 or 2 chased me after I did it 3 times to them (guess they were near their screen). One I got a decent drop from, he ended up logging or getting D/Ced just after killing a giant so I got the loot.

MOST OF THEM ARE GOLD BOTS!!!
the guildless ones, with weird names liek asodidf , adautey ,adf earh, adf,aghart, jhetyhy are gold bots!!
the ones with those chiense names like linxing111, dakuaitou, jonghyg, and anything that starts with QQ (a popular chinese msging program, like MSN and AIM) are gold bots!!!
any playesr with names in sequencial order are gold bots!! like andyTa, andytb, andytC, andytD, etc....

any players using +0 weapons are probably gold bots!!!

gold bots are just as bad, looks like hats all that was hit by the ban list.

Report often, they seem to be looking now.

There should be a special Hunter card available just for taking out bots that would allow you to pk another player that is not wearing another job-item without penalty.

When the player gets killed a popup window would have them answer a random question that would be very easy to answer. They would not be able to revive themselves until they answered. That would effectively shut down any un-monitored bot for a while at least.

If the player was not botting and answered the random question, they could revive on the spot without penalty and would be immune from getting pk'd by anyone with the special Hunter card for 300-600 seconds to prevent abuse of the Hunter card.

If they did answer the question and pop up right away - the Hunter could be put into an attempted murder status to further prevent abuse. Also, to make things even harder on the botters - after the time allowed to answer the 'revive' question expires, the anti-bot kill could revert to a normal death status with experience lost, but the random question would still have to be answered before reviving.

I'd pay millions in gold for a Hunter ID that would let me kill bots or even lay out some silk to get one through the item mall.

I think the bots are on the pay roll for joymax that is why some never get deleted. back door deals with gold selling companys lets the bots go free.

What do you all think Why else would there be so many that are out there Day after Day reported many many times But they are still here collecting the gold to Sell You.

Because they have to sift through 10,000 emails dealing with 14 servers.

I seriously doubt they are linked. In addition the GMs have repeatedly stated such.

If they wanted to they would sell gold in the item mall and wouldn't need bots to create it.

Ok, here's a new list of botters at the Yeti area I've seen over the past few days. They all fit the same profile: (too?) high level, no guild, move in the same patterns, KS, and don't react to anything except an automated response like hallo or ???:

adding skakid (WTFHacks guild), the retard even admitted to botting, yes I have SS of it. He's set to KS but not attack players (he told me so).

He was babysitting.

I'm also adding Hevansspear (currently in Spectral). I saw him for the first time in months. I was in a guild with him many many months ago. In guild chat he was telling everyone how he did it (he was 4x at the time). Granted this was back in March, sadly the screenshots died on my last PC but I have a friend that can back me up.

He may not do it anymore, but once a person has botted a character it's tainted.

There's a new batch at yetis now, many of the others have either moved on or been banned (I can hope).

spectral seems to like doing shit like that. ie: Cerex and Nam_Tuan.
