Well, neither am I. But it's a good way to find out what's going on with the private servers.
And right now, this server is getting some real good support from the players on EPVP, but there's this one guy who have been running around taking a lot of servers down with his constant DDOS attacks and exploits. He's trying to do the same with Conflict, so nobody really likes him. But you know the drill, he's just an attention seeker trying to make a quick buck blackmailing private server owners into paying him to stop.
He most likely gets bored at some point, though.
The good thing is that the last Conflict server was online for over a year. And we're still in the first week of this server, so I'm still optimistic. In a weeks time, most everything will probably be fine again.
We will keep the server offline until we have fixed
- an exploit which crashes the gameserver
- 2k playerlimit (hopefully)
- some small bugs
- higher security
