Nope. Most of us are on Constantinople. Only 3-4 people on the EU one.

The real issue was that I didn't know I had to use my e-mail as username to login

FucK this. The game plays at arount 10 fps for me on minimum settings. Other recen't MMOs haven't done that. TESO didn't do that on medium settings. Besides that the graphics settings are extremely lacking and the only other available resolution for me is an 16:10 resolution, wtf. Also if I set it to the lower resolution, it gets all pixely and shit and it messes up the text, that's not how lower resolutions are done. The windows ingame look very lossy and too "sharp" on the eyes, especially that skill wheel thingy. Not enough available classes imo and I don't like that Rome doesn't have an archer, but all races should have an archer obviously. The character creation is lacking to say the least. Quests seem too damn grindy. And the movement is a bit clunky (also turning the camera is torture at 10 fps, it just doesn't wanna turn). Kinda like some of the armor though and the glowy stuff also seems nice. But the game feels incomplete at this point.
