You'd wonder how game developers can make profits with these kind of prices... JUST KIDDING, fucking ridiculous prices on games nowadays. 60 euros for a new game, what a joke. DLC's and everything too, you used to get that for fucking free with a patch.
I checked the lists and just downloaded everything I want (only got max payne 2, and mind you I actually bought that @ 50 euros like a decade ago).
These deals are good, but 'normal' prices are just too insane.

No, because I could buy it cheaper at retail around where I live.

You turn in tickets for prizes. It doesn't affect the tickets entered for the 'raffle' for 10 games off your wish list.

I grabbed Alien Breed 2 since it's a game. Then I don't know what I'll grab afterwards.

You'd be surprised when games are on sale on how much they make. Here's an example of Garry's Mod first sale. To make 9% of total sales off a single sale? Yeah that's a lot. It went from 3k copies to 35k copies.

Spoiler!

It's not a surprise when anything is on sale it'll sell a lot more. They'll sell A LOT more copies than a typical week to make up for the sale price.

Kinda goes like this. Buy 1 game for $60 not many people are going to buy it. Now put game on sale for $5 and if it's a popular game shit tons of people will buy it. You can easily get 12 people who bought it per 1 who bought it full price.

Sure getting stuck in a room full of skulls and bones and then going into an air duct that leads you nowhere but in the dark is not nice. :soosad:

They're shitty. I'm redownloading L4D2 at random rates that don't even cap at my normal 1.5mb/sec rate. I get around 0(It gets suspended) to around 550 during the day time. At night I was getting little over a meg.

So I have the BFBC2 package now.
Its been 4 hours, and I havnt been able to completely download it yet. Been downloading around 500 kb/s lately, and sometimes it stops for a few and then starts back up... an hour left for me.

I started Just Cause 2 earlier, was also getting shitty rates. My max is 1.2mb, but at the most I was getting 800, and sometimes it would drop to nothing at all. Was annoying as hell because I wanted to play it some before sleeping, now I have to wait til tomorrow.

The servers are being overloaded. I guess this Steam sale is bigger than ever. And the servers crashed when it started.

Download it over night or change your download region. Best suggestion I can offer. Unless wait after the sale ends

Eh..I got out of there, even though I don't remember how.

What I really don't understand, since there are no subtitles available, is why the SWAT-like men want to kill me. :soosad:
