Pick pet question

There is a guy on EOS selling a monkey pick pet with rental period of 716 days, is this a glitch/bug or is it safe to buy?

I dont want to buy and relog to find it has 16 days left or something -.-

IIRC I read something about getting pet clocks when you haven't been on a char/account in several months. So he probably got alot of those accounts, traded the pet to each account and put the clock on it.

I think it's legit but I doubt it's cheap. Also I wouldn't buy a pet for 2 years...who knows what might happen, waste of money unless it's a bargain ofc =p

Yea 700m is pretty nice for that long. I bought my glider for 400m with 200 days on it.


Edit: Basically you buy it if it's a good price. There's a chance JM could fix the bug at any moment, but I highly doubt it. They haven't done it for months now. Clocks are ~150-200m each. Each one is only 28 days. So for me, 200/28 ~6 clocks worth. That's 900m+. For 700 days, that's equal to over 20 clocks. If you bought the clocks alone for that long it will already cost you 3b gold.

The biggest downside to these is that if you take a break, internet goes down, etc. The time on the pet runs down regardless.

i lol'd! if my internet went down i would be more concerned about not getting a decent fix of porn then my pickup pet running a few days on its 2 years worth of use.
besides... its in game gold... its not like he will really loose out either way.

I very highly doubt that this is even a bug, lol. It's just how it works, right? You can use pet clocks to extend a pets lifetime.

Anyway, those rewards were not premium rewards as far as I remember, and therefore couldn't be traded. So I believe he have actually bought those pet clocks. In other words, buy it!

Buying a prem silk pet and then doing CCF with normal silk, recharging the silk pet and selling as by recharging it, it doesn't make it untradeable.

I just bought Pet with 300 days ramaining for 350mil. I still have my old pet 20 days left. I just bought it cuz its damn too cheap. I have it for weeks now,and still waiting for my old pet to expire b4 I use that.

Depending on the sellers and people who returned from inactive at that event but you will probably find them at every server (but it is probably already sold though) .
