Is it worth it?

So I just got a deal from a close friend of mine. My Nokia E52 for his Xbox 360 60gb + CoD: MW2.

His xbox is in good shape, the only thing is that the thing that covers the usb ports is broken, and you cant close it. My phone is worth around 220 euro in store and it's relative new, I also checked out what it is worth when used, and it was everything around 100 euro up to 180 euro depending on shape, so I guess I would be able to get around 150 euro for mine.

I am not slightly interested in console gaming and I was thinking of selling it instead. But the question is, will I get more for my phone than the xbox?

Your phone is pretty old by phone standards whereas consoles keep much higher resale value. Consoles are also much easier to sell than phones.

tldr -> take console

Ye, but the "glitch" on the xbox, how much will it decrease in value by that? I can check and see if I can get a picture of it to show it off better.

Yeah, you should also take that into consideration cause if you're going to bring it into a local gaming store, they will be penny pinching douche bags once they see it. Whatever minor problem they see will be an opportunity to make more out of it for them.

Well, if I sell it I will sell it through swedens biggest sale site, so it will be a private person buying it.

Edit: It is a Xbox 360 Elite 120gb

Also, 2 pictures to show off the glitches, apperantly the feathers that makes them pop back up got on the loose and he wasn't able to find them.

edit: Just saw how crappy the images turned out, but I guess they will work. As you can see, the covers wont pop back up, the only way to make them fully closed is to flip the xbox up side down lol.

The console is worth it imo, as long as it still runs games fine. If u ever want to resell the cover is a really small issue, just buy a new case on ebay. They're really cheap/ easy to install (look up youtube videos).

trade it, sell xbox on ebay as slightly damaged (sell for 30 dollars less then market price) and take the cash. then simply buy iPhone.

try next to nothing, 360s dont sell for anything nmore

Did some searching and could not find any cases for this xbox version, just the old version. Since we not really got ebay in sweden it would just be easier to lower the price with like 30 euros since the shipment would cost to much.

Think I take the deal and sell the crap and buy myself a HTC.

Can't you just buy a new Xbox faceplate?

Problem solved. Or is it not the actual face plate that's messed up?

It is the face plate, or.. just the things that protect the USB ports and the Memory Input A that is broken. Otherwise the faceplate is in good shape. I've did some searching and all I can find is cases for the one without HDMI, they cost around 30 euro but as soon as I find one with HDMI I have to pump out 60 euro or more for.
