I gotta say though, what the big kid did was very dangerous. Much more so than bullying. If the bully had landed on his head, big kid's parent can look towards paying support for a disabled bully for the rest of his life.

More dangerous? Bullying can lead to suicide and can have a long lasting impact on a person's life. What the kid did was self defense and any capable lawyer could've counter sued anything that bully's parents tried to throw at him. And probably taken the school to court as well for failing to prevent what was obviously an ongoing sport of pick on the fat kid.

the physical stuff is easier to deal with its the endless jeers and verbal abuse thats the worse kind of bullying, one time i did go to fight back they where kicking me in the back i turn around to punch him i spun so fast my eyes blurred and i ended up punching the wrong person haha

funny when you look back on it though but again as it was physical its easier to deal with usually you cant fight back with the verbal shit

i admire this kid though bullys are the scum of the earth and by extension trolls who do the same thing keep in mind some people kill themselfs over bullying

I'm pretty sure the physical type of bullying is just as mentally corroding and degrading as the verbal type and neither can be said to be more difficult to deal with than the other when they both inflict the same type of damage on a person self-esteem and state of mind.

that's not iffy. A punch to the right part of the head could've had the same or an even worse impact on the kid depending on a lot of things. So i guess if this was a video of the victim punching this kid right in the back of the head as hard as he could and watching the kid faceplant into the ground then it would be a perfectly acceptable level of defense? It really doesn't take a lot for a concussion to occur even the ones that go unnoticed for awhile...

@wong that's a lovely story but your bullying preferences don't let you make blanket statements about such an extremely subjective thing. I was bullied and did some bullying. Different people react differently to physical and verbal abuse. Name calling might be able to push you over the edge but for some it's the fear of being helpless while someone pounds on you everyday.
