Things aren't going soo well for me on my new account, I'm going for a full str garment blader build on the Gaia server, I'm level 17 and I can't seem to get any money. I only get enough each run to buy about 100 potions (30 health, 70 mana)
Could somebody please give me some financial tips or toss me some gold?
I'm sorry if I sound stupid, but on my old account on Oasis I did soo well, I have over 20 mil by the time I was level 30.

You could always make a new character and go to high lvl places and pick up whatever they leave behind.

Grind on green/blue mobs. More mobs per level = more gold and less potions used. It's hard to build upon something that's non-existent. Being money in your case.

T_T please don't say that, I know it's true though.
I have seen a single group of merchants or thieves an I'm already level 20.
But if I can't find any merchants how will I hunt thieves?

best way to make money when low lvls is through high lvl friends, for a high lvl 10mil is nothing, for you its a huge amount of money, so think about it...

Once you make some money, reconsider going to Hotan and buy Elixir the cheapest you find it there (for my server that is: weapon elixir 550K, shield elixir 100/150K, accessory 100K). Go to Samarkand and sell it for like 650-200-150K. That's how I used to make money and doing it again. It's boring and slow, but it can make you some decent money.

Comme on dude , u grind on normal mobs , u ghet a weapon elixir u make 1 mil gold , with those money u grind 1 week , and in that week u ghet many more elixirs .

Your Chinese, go stronghold. You can stay there easily until lv 20+. You are able to kill the lv 12 bandit archers very fast and they drop like shit. You will be able to gather alot of items a day, in addition stay under lvl 21 to teleport back... grap everything (and use a bow to kill) and your rich for your lvl in one day.
I made like 20 millions there when i did farming there one week in 2006 (even if i couldnt teleport at that time).
And elixirs are also dropping there.

edit: Yes, i did also find there low lv sos (2nd degree) which was very expensive at those days cause alot of ppl did farm at low lv.

If you really want an easy way to be rich.. buy a bunch of globals and say you are a new female player looking for English speaking friends to enjoy with.. some desperate dude will come to your aid and after flirting with him you can get what ever you want =P.

Just make a wizard or some easy to lvl char at start, grind / quest with it till you have some elixir drops and gold. (if you chose wizard, don't buy gear, only staff, to save some gold)

When you have some decent amount, start buying elixirs and selling them higher (check the prices of your server)

1) Go to roc (or whatever the new high level place is) and pickup drops from bots (there are a few guides around here explaining how to do it)
2) Dont use pots. since you aren't even 20 yet, everytime you run out of mp, just sit down, regain, then go back to grinding. helps a lot imo.
3) like someone above me said, go to bandit fort (if you are 16), you get loads of drops there and the mobs are easy to kill.

if i was on your server i would just give you 10 mil or something. i have a nice pile of 400mil sitting in storage just from selling elixirs. if your able to find 2-3 wpn elixirs your set till like lvl 30-35

as for Roc mountain idea, it's pretty okay, but boring. Whenever your bored though, you can just die and then res yourself when your ready again.

Sounds a little "botish" to me considering the incredibly low drop rate after level 60. Just saying

Also the buy low sell high tactic is the best way to make money period.
