Good RPG's?

Post by Tasdik »

So here's the dealio, yes, dealio. I'm looking for some good RPG games because my internet is so lame the MMORPG games crash it. :banghead:

Anyways, I like the whole fantasy games thing, like SRO, Aion, WoW and stuff like that. But I'm really up for just about anything, so yeah, if you've got any suggestions lemme know.

Ty.

P.S oh and my computer isn't one of those "gaming" computers, so nothing to crazy.

Hmm...well, I occasionally play a weird/cool game called Improbable Island. It's all text-based so you can play from pretty much anywhere. leaves it all to your imagination.

Roleplaying is wide open, since the game is designed that you can invent and roleplay anything. I have my character with horns, wings, and 3 inch thick fingers so he can barely pick up anything. :P

Best part is that you level from 1 to 15, then kill a boss, then get respawned as a level 1 - but with different perks like more attack and defense, hit points, etc. You can also switch races between boss kills.

If text-based isn't your thing, then I'm not sure as I stuck with SRO, and GW2 isn't out yet :x

Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Fable, Borderlands.

I tried Oblivion once, wasn't all that entertaining IMO. Meh, maybe I'll give it another try.

I feel like fall out 3 would cause my computer to spontaneously implode. Ha.

Kult: Heretic kingdoms.
Silver (1998) (it's pretty old but it's my most favorite RPG ever).

both games are very fun and Silver has a very unique combat system.

I don't think PoP is an rpg... more like an action/hack 'n slash

Thats just one typ of RPG, an RPG is simply playing as a fixed caracter (a role) in game, atleast I think its just one.

Has pretty much nothing to do with the things you listed.

As the name sais: Role Playing Game.

Do you want action RPG's such as:
- Torhclight
- Diablo
- Titan Quest

or

Do you want more traditional RPG's such as:
- Knights of the Old Republic
- Jade Empire

All are good by the way.

I said pretty decent I never said it was amazing. I honestly never finished it, because well.. it wasn't my type of game in a way. When I got bored I used to set it up to play through my PSP around my house.

Ha, I actually bought Torchlight the other day. Should be here soon. = D

And I played Jade Empire a while back, lost the disk, found another one for like $1 on ebay, should be here soon.

Already played Knight of the Old Republic. I may try Diablo thought but who knows?
