Transformers 3 pushed early.(release date revealed)

Im clumping you in with the later because you sold transformers short. I understand that people should expect different things from different movies, i don't walk into transformers expecting to see The Godfather or even 2001: A Space Odyssey but i expect to see a good action/sci-fi movie and your original post indicated that - Transformers was not capable of being a good action/sci-fi movie and nor should anyone have expected it to be one. They should all expect to just see actions, robots, and Megan Fox and that should satisfy them, plot, who needs it?! This is Transformers not something that could be good - Thats what i gathered from your original post. If i was mistaken then i apologize but i was only going by what you wrote and if im not mistaken then yeah, you should get dumped in with the "latters"

Like i said, i never expected it to be 2001 but i did expect something like Star Trek or The Fifth Element. Something thats action/sci-fi that knows when to make you laugh with a good story and still hits your explosion and hot chick bones without over-saturating them till that becomes the focus instead of the plot. You know, a good movie. A movie worth the $10 ticket(ish $10 is pretty damn expensive for a movie). Those are the kinds of movies im comparing Transformers to, movies that are within its genre and potential caliber. The first Transformers was great, it hit all the notes that it should've and only suffered from some bad writing here and there. Transformers II, not so much...

So when people complain that the story in Transformers II sucked don't just go "story don't matter, megan fox was hot" and expect to be taken seriously or even treated like your opinion has some value to anyone with a brain. People like me and those Story whiners hate people who go "Megan Fox in slow-mo...this was worth $10" because Hollywood caters to those people and like i said, the entire genre and the standards set and expected for it are lowered....

I go to the movies to have fun, and this is a nice movie to go see with your friends on a saturday night.

Your standards are way to high for a Transformers movie, I enjoyed watching it, but it wasn't one of these movies I will always remember as a great one.
